  11. This thread is a joke given that nobody has posted up the answer that Paddy gave. Just post it up for christs sakes, otherwise close the thread in my opinion, as we're attempting to have a discussion on something we're all speculating on whilst those who have seen it are commenting on. Mindless! I'm sure it's a fine answer, but bloody well share it with us or close the thread! Rich
  12. Doug Banks on Argo £30 off Mick Smith in 1988. I was still in school at the time and worked in Kwik Save after school on a thursday and friday and all day saturday. Was over a week's wages. Vividly remember being up the ladder in work stocking some shelves and thinking "what have I done - work like a dog and then spunk all the cash in one go on a 7" piece of 20 year old vinyl and have feck all left to go out on". I obviously didn't learn my lesson as within 12 months I'd bought Timi Yuro off Mick for £120 on UK Liberty and Freddie houston - If I Had Known for a ton. In fact, Mick probably had most of my kwik save wages in them 2 years!! Happy days Rich
  13. Yeay, definitely sounds different doesn't it?! Ony that first bit at start though! Bizarre. Rich
  14. Yep, me neither. Mine's styrene and the same as all copies I've heard played out. Over to you Pete... Rich
  15. Isn't it 45 days now to lodge your Paypal dispute from the date of payment? Are you outside this Pete? Rich
  16. Not asking you to do owt Pete, it's just crap isn't it when good people that we know are getting ripped off by a bloke who hasn't got the spine to come and give an explanation or to sort the problem out. That's all. Just frustrating. At least if Karen's prepared to email him it'll feel as if something's being done (given she booked him recently). Rich
  17. The court don't send in their own bailiffs, you have to make an application to court to enforce any judgment if the defendant hasn't coughed up within the time specified in the judgment (usually 14 or 28 days). Karen, as you had this crook DJing for you at your last Bourne For Soul bash, will you at least confirm that you'll pass on the grievances on this thread to Ian Burt directly, as presumably you have his contact details if you booked him? That's the very least you can do. Or is it a case of "Not my problem"? I'd have thought that as a regualr poster on here you'd have some empathy/solidarity with fellow Soul Source members (who we know are trustworthy) who have been conned and ripped off by one of your DJs? Well? Rich
  18. Got an Ex+ yellow copy if anyone's after one £325. PM me if interested... Rich
  19. First: Dobie Gray - Out On The Floor (Inferno re-issue) Last: Cookie Scott - I Don't Care (ORR) Rich
  20. Temptations "Get Ready" (still love it) and Barrett Strong "Money" on UK Tamla re-issues, circa '86 when aged 15. From the wonderful Phase One Records in Wrexham, north wales! Happy days Rich
