Hi Bob On the 015 release of 'Please Don't Let Me Go' the dead wax markings are like the 011 release except that the 011 markings are scratched out and 015 is scratched in. On the 'Look Into My Eyes' side the marking are 015. I may have a spare of the 015 release - but will need to look to see if I'm right. Just interested in which other Magic City 45 you are missing? Is it Sweet Geraldine on 020 by any chance? Cheers Richard

Hi Bob Yes, it's one of their rarer ones on Magic City. The other side is 'Please Don't Let Me Go' which came out earlier on Magic City 011 with 'Stand By Me' on the flip. Will have a quick look at mine to see if there's anything else to note. Cheers Richard

Had a long problem with a US eBay seller who was charging double post etc. as a rip off (posted something previously about this). Anyway, tried an eBay live chat on it tonight to see if I could sort it that way. It's disgraceful. Here's the whole thing so you can see how truly bad and useless it was - complete f*cking waste of time. It is a totally random process and I guess the people are dealing with a dozen or even many more issue at one time. The daft bit that stands out to me is " I am a specialist specifically with issues related to General Support" so they could not handle it ansd had to hand me on to someone else. Was listening to Derek Pearson on Bradford Radio tonight and he played Melvin Davis - I Won't Be Your Fool (Fortune) and I remembered I had first heard it played over the phone and bought it - Roger banks I think it was from. Anyway, I wondered about hearing and buying over the phone - a big thing back in the day (as were tapes of course) - and whether anyone had decent good tales - good or bad experiences. One of my best first hearings of a fabulous record, by means of the old telephone, was E.J & Echoes - You're Gonna Hurt (Diamond Jim) - those horns, handclaps and drums!! - I had to have it Cheers Richard
