  1. How much would you pay for a VG++ demo copy?
  2. Get the irony out and run it over some of the discs and only 50% of the problems would be solved...
  3. Was comped on one of the buttshakers series. £30 on an issue, or $600 for an acetate, I know which I'd go for...
  4. Aren't LH2 / LH3 the "Master" numbers? The Arlen releases are 749 / 751 This just means they were recorded at the same session, meaning that the Gina release could still be the first issue. (i.e. I could release these records on a label later this year and the Masters supplied would be LH2 and LH3, but I could call the releases #1 and #2 on the Pikeys Dog label)
  5. At least the MFP LPs don't skip and are flat....
  6. Side A - Look up to the rooftops.... Side B - ...at the arse of a crow. Madness - The Wings Of A Dove. Not Soul, but one that tickled me as a youth.
  7. The Mosquitos is a Pittsburgh bootleg of Manny Corchado - using the album cut on one side. Don't pay a lot for it, there's a "Popcorn" dealer in the US who has a very large quantity of unplayed copies.
  8. Please see the other thread about this eBay listing....
  9. Lovely, Do you also have matching "mittens on a string"?
  10. there's a few... Mediocre Tom, Average Dick So So Harry (talkin ball s got my ordinarys mixed up- to stay on topic)
  11. Wonder what a UK copy of the Barbara Lewis LP would fetch on a Manships auction?
  12. I don't doubt it Benji - I heard it on a CD swap on here (or possibly Modculture or RSF), seem to recall it being on Sebs CD?
  13. Could well have Mik, it was a while back and I've knocked a few pints back since then.
  14. Was on about his late 60s return to the label....
  15. Collect artists output rather than labels - that way you can avoid all the dross (Luney Landing, Irene 'Granny' Reid, Bobby Darin etc).
  16. Was playing it about seven or eight years ago - definitely a scarce record, but didn't really take off on the dancefloor and of little interest to buyers. Had one spare and sold it for about £50.
  17. Do you mean this one? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/This-Loved-Starved-Heart-Of-Mine-Marvin-Gaye-SUPER-RARE-ORIGINAL-MINT-/151198334839?pt=UK_Records&hash=item23341f7f77 Missing it's sleeve, which for a real collector should be half it's value.
  18. looks snide to me - poor definition to the print.
  19. I don't hear any soul sample? Give us a clue as to which part of the track you want ID'ing.

Topic reopened at original posters request. Cheers.

Since the buyer and seller have both been on the thread and communicated, it's probably best left until they have reached some kind of resolution. Locking the thread now, and will only re-open at the request of the thread starter, or Sid J. Cheers.
  22. I would happily watch a ten minute dancing video of the little lad at 1:30
  23. You might have more luck with your want on www.French-MoogSource.co.uk
  24. Dubious reissue (aka boot) for the US Beach scene. I'd tie it to a brick and throw it in the cut, before playing it out.
  25. Yep, you're right Sean. Momentary mindslip.
