Anyone want to throw a theory about this one into the ring? Vinyl WLP with black text both sides.

Drilled through boxes depending upon the length of the drill bit, and often the bit was that hot that it melted the vinyl, causing a back up of vinyl on the last record as they removed the drill.

Although many styrene records were drilled to prevent 'cash' returns, a few labels dabbed them with gold paint / gold stars / or stamped NR on the label... ABC Paramount and their distributed labels (Tangerine etc) and Sue did this. Motown even wrote NR on them with sharpie.

I was DJing at a Charity do a few years ago and the DJ playing on the decks before me had several of these carvers with mocked up labels... As he finished his set with Jimmy Wallace "I'll be back", I picked up the mic and said "thanks to x... That was Jammy Willis - a bit like Jimmy Wallace, but not quite..."

I've looked for this record for the last four or five buying trips to the US... never even had a sniff... found a few single sided demos with the wrong side.

Anyone have a full list of Okeh 45 picture sleeves / Jukebox EPs from the US? Also any foreign releases ($5 or EP) that came in a picture sleeve? Ta Muchly.
