Hi All....KIETH - DAYLIGHT SAVI N TIME. Mercury Records 1967. 4. Hi All...The analysis of the Online song is very in-keeping with the events that resulted out of the Detroit riots and the death of Martin Luther King Jr, and the free spirit of OK!ness that had be the mood of the late 6ts, through the experience of psycho active drugs, the free spirit was opened and many people especially Black Americans, Females. Gays, used the enlightenment as the start of a mission of equality, (they had sussed they had not been allowed to be Assertive) Carl Rodgers adviser to the president and pioneer of the person centred style of Psychotherapy made an analogy of the time "It's like peeling a great Big Onion each layer is full of tears" DAVE THE DRUG this is the END?
  5. Dear Lady..I cant believe your quote about this timeless MOTOWN CLASSIC! Really Im bemused at this statement, Wasn'T it yourself or could of been Mick who informed me of the picture sleeve that come with the DEMO? and was it not yourself who put me collecting the Tamla Motown UK Label after seeing your collection at Langham Place, you had them all. More to the point this is one of the great POP Tunes of 69-70 when GODS Dog was a Pup!we were both older and wiser than today!! All I can say is if you loath this record so much and I have never had a picture sleeve for my Demo, How about giving me yours?? DAVE the True SPIRIT of 69.

Well it,s like this I like playing the blues & listening to all aspects of American Black Music and Hilbilly, I also Love Reggae! and still have a nice small collection of classics fro 68-71..But I would never impose on someones night out by playing Dico records, that were being played at The NEW PENNY DISCO in Watford?? Xover is for the Limp Wristed Types..Look what happened at Blackpool Mecca YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!? DAVE the WAG.

Hi All.. The term Xover was invented for those individuals who could never afford to buy Rare Northern Soul? so they invented a way of playing all the cheap crap from the 7ts and would you believe "they got away with it" Xover does not mean 7ts Rare Soul?? YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Dave

This Record and other #TMG-530s, takes me back to the early 7ts when "Mick informed me to pick up any early TMG500s especially the TMGs in the 530s". They are extremely hard to find, especially in mint condition. DAVE

  12. I have often wondered what sort of result you would get from a medical sterilizer the one that they use that bombards the surface like a sand blaster but with high pressure water? I know it wont damage the records surface at all as like every Boy I have put my hands in and guess what?...I got very clean hands, just a thought DAVE
  13. I totally agree with your selection IAN ,but would add WHAT ARE YOU EXPECTING TO GET?...for them you must have some idea, I have over the years like us all been at boot fairs and some ex students are selling of there yesterdays vinyl and like your self what rare on not rare is in my case should i stay or should I go and find absolutely shag all on 45 , mind you I have still got the rare Micheal Jackson 12" which I got it featured in Record Collector has a good History, and yet to see one come up for sale? so its gotta be rare also I have about 40 HIP HOP 12" from when I was a YOUTH & COMMUNITY WORKER ADVENTURE PLAY LEADER, GREAT DAYS IN WOLVERHAMPTON Working with my favourite Kids on the Scotlands Estate, Marie my Wife worked on the 3 Tons Elston Hall are of Wolves on her own, If you Know Smokey He lived across the road from her area, I know I have strayed of the point but this was a very tuff area as was the Scotlands if the did not like you it was a living hell and I reckon no man on this site could work Marie's Kids? any way there are some quite valuable HIP HOP There is a shop in Manchester who deal with all this stuff, At Keele All-Nighter 5 years ago ish I got a Skip Mahoney "Janice" on a UK UNDERWORLD 12" for £25 knocks the spots of the 7" 45, as a few god but many bad MOTOWN12s the dreaded PUMP UP THE MOTOWN and 4Tops "REACH OUT" ZT 41944 THIS IS poo POO PUP STYLEE IT AUNT NELLS, AND TO MAKE TINGS WORSE THEY HAVE PUT THE ORIGANAL VERSION ON THERE, WHAT A GOOD EXAMPLE OF TO KEEP AT WHAT YOU KNOW? AS YOU WILL F**K IT UP?? YES i AM INTERESTED IN THIS TOPIC? DAVE
  14. This method does work, I Have used this method many many times! as I said to Pete practice on loads of JACK 1St, best results are when you ware ribber gloves, and pour water of both sides from the kettle centre outwards, this system of restoring plastic shine was use on toys if they had sun fade, but the dealer would just toss it straight into the boiling water?? have a go. I have never used this method on any records that are not in the EMI group DAVE KIL

  18. John Pughs event was what it should be like, he put it on in Heath Town Wolves, it had one of the best atmosphers of all time. great people great records and a rotation of DJs, John is a very foreward thinker, and this type of event should happen at least 4 times a year, I will provide my sound system if any one wants to run one DAVE KIL

  20. Yet another rare UK Released Disco Classic that hard to find. I would put a price on it as a collector £25 as it is relatively unknown and is more Disco on the first hearing, but after a few plays you can feel the soul, It's a hard one, you probably would have more chance of getting this at a Boot Fair than of a list, as people who do lists no it is rare DAVE KIL
