Hi Ted I really don't understand the issue of should I or shouldnt I play a record, especially a record that is sung soulfully has a classic beat and rhythm and the breaks at the right spot as mentioned to get the dancers moving and that is the problem as I see it as you may be aware I don't get about to much these days but if the scene has turned into some numbing mind bending conversation on the playing of a great classic and in its rarest example know wonder it is full of old age grumpy people and new blood does not attend when I first attended the dance hall scene every one looked old? in reality they were in there early 20s if I had hear ed soul sounds and gone in a club and the youngest person there worked behind the bar I don't think even the best tunes would keep me there?
