The Eliminators - Loving Explosion - Brc
They only had one 7" release on BRC as far as I know. This one: Eliminators - Give It Up / Blood Donors Needed (Give All You Can) - BRC 113 Might be the one you're thinking about?

45s & Lps On Ebay: Johnny Watson 'i Say I Love You', Little Beaver, Nate Calhoun
Thanks for pointing it out, I've posted in the wrong section and didn't notice it until now! Big apologies, I usually always post in the auction section. Any of you moderators: move this thread to the correct section if you feel like it. Sorry, I don't sell records set sale or for "offers" on forums at all anymore. Why not set up a sniper tool to place a bid for you? That way you will not need to have access to eBay when the auctions end.

Elliot Small... I'm A Devil
Fantastic tune in my opinion. And much harder to find copies of than most people realize.

Senator Jones On International City
I just found out that Senator Jones passed away in his sleep on November 29th this year and his funeral service took place this past saturday (December 6th). Very sad.

Senator Jones On International City
WOW! Great stuff! I can't quite make out the full title of the "... My Baby's Back" side on the SAPPHIRE 45. Do you know what it is? Thanks for pointing that out. Salena also got an issue on UK Columbia. Have added the additional/correct info to the discography in the first post now. I'll post up some clean scans of the Whurley Burley 45 when I find it... (have searched a couple of hours for it, have no idea where I've placed it! )

Senator Jones On International City
Thanks for that! I have added that info to the listing above. Also found another Bell 45 plus one on Sapphire. Can it be that the "The Sheriff" 45 in R&B indies is in fact the 45 released as WHURLEY BURLEY 101? Is INTERNATIONAL CITY 729 mentioned in R&B indies?

Senator Jones On International City
I've just found a Senator Jones 45 that I've never seen mentioned anywhere. It's on the INTERNATIONAL CITY label and has got two good sides, especially "Eenie Meenie Miney Minnie & Moe" which has got gritty vocals and second-line drumming all the way through. Has anyone of you come across it earlier? I thought this label was fairly well researched but can't find a mention of this disc. While I'm at it, here's a discography of Senator Jones 60s solo 45s: INTERNATIONAL CITY 729 - Eenie Meenie Miney Minnie & Moe / Country Soul WATCH 6337 - Sugar Dee / I Think Of You HOT LINE 120 - Whatcha Gonna Do / Boston Fleet WHURLEY BURLEY 101 - Call The Sheriff / Let Your Self Go SAPPHIRE 913 - Baby It's Too Late / My Baby's Back SHAGG 713 - Do You Love Me / Who's Loving Her Now SHAGG 801 - The Fat Man / Today And Tonight BELL 687 - Miniskirt Dance / Sweet Thing Has anyone got anything to add?

This Guy Selling The Four Tracks
You're thinking about Lester Tipton on La Beat. There have been at least 25 copies of the Four Tracks 45 on eBay sold by the same seller during the past year.

Ebay/paypal Overseas Postal Charges Help Please
Actually that IS the case. Proof of postage isn't enough as evidence, they want proof of delivery (i.e. some kind of signature from the buyer when they have recieved it). No, you're wrong. It is true. If you list any item in the "Records" section on US eBay, you will have to (regardless where the seller is based!) supply a shipping option to US buyers that is maximum $4. It's outrageous, and I have no idea where they got $4 from - it costs more than that to ship an LP within the US and a lot more if shipping from Europe. One way to get around it is to clearly state in the item description what the actual postage cost is and add that amount when you send out an invoice to the buyer.

The Moovers - Darling I'll Go
Probably should've kept my mouth shut... But yes, it is. It has got the same backing track if I remember correctly, but obviously with group vocals instead of solo vocal from Johnny K. Wouldn't mind a copy of the Johnny K Killens 45 as well, it's the better version if I had to choose.
-
The Moovers - Darling I'll Go
Didn't know that! The tune I'm looking for is "I Don't Need No Help".
-
The Moovers - Darling I'll Go
Has anyone got their 45 on DRIVE for sale? Wouldn't mind a copy.
-
The Moovers - Darling I'll Go
Great info! I'm so glad that they managed to rescue it. There's an unissued tune on their second "Deep City" compilation by Snoopy Dean called "Your Love Won't Let Me Leave You", it's very similar to "Darling I'll Go" and also taken from what sounds like a scruffy acetate.
-
The Moovers - Darling I'll Go
Yes. The BRENT 45 was initially released on the Florida label DEEP CITY.
-
Steve Parks - Thinking Of You - Wanted
There are 44 M- copies in stock over at Craig Moerer's. Hope everything's alright mate.

Pinnacle Records
It definitely doesn't support your view of things. (but in this case, you probably CAN find this book in Tesco, it's one of the best selling non-fiction books in the past couple of years)
-
Pinnacle Records
It's superb. Definitely go out and buy it if you don't get it as a christmas gift. I'm looking forward to his forthcoming book "Free! Why $0.00 Is the Future of Business" as well.

Chris Anderson's book "The Long Tail - Why the Future of Business Is Selling Less of More" is essential reading when it comes to this subject. I really recommend it to anyone partaking in this discussion who haven't read it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Long-Tail-Future-B...1610&sr=8-4
