  1. NICE!!! Thanks! Great tune.
  2. That's 13% all in all. If you had recieved the payment outside of PayPal, eBay's cut would've been 9%. That's not very much in my opinion considering the exposure and service that eBay provides. I know other websites and dealers that sell rare soul 45s on behalf of others who charge more. There aren't too many comments about that on here though.
  3. That's a decent price. Most copies sell for £75-£125. Manship auctioned a "still sealed" (stapled in upper left corner of the sleeve) white demo of this just the other day and it fetched £529...
  4. It's also not: Walt Love - Let Me Come Back Home
  5. Just listened to a clip of that one, and it's sadly not it.
  6. Well there you go... Thanks for checking though!
  7. Just found a slightly longer clip here: https://music.msn.com/album/?album=40311888 Doesn't sound like the tune we're after I'm afraid, but you never know, it's over 6 minutes in duration.
  8. There's a tune called "Home To You" on a Dan Carey album from 2001 which it might be. The preview clips I've found have only got the 30 second spoken intro so I don't know for sure Anyway, it's here: https://cdbaby.com/cd/dancarey But you have to download the entire album. Each track can however be downloaded at eMusic, but I don't have an account with them: https://www.emusic.com/album/Dan-Carey-My-S...d/10846818.html Can anyone else download it and see if it's the right tune?

This is actually 7083. 7063 exists with scripted design on vinyl: 7061 as well, but this time on styrene:
  10. Are there any other solo releases by him apart from the ones on Becket and Gimme Five? I just read that he was a member of the Delfonics during the late 90s and early 2000s and is featured on some albums from that time. Have anyone of you heard this material?
  11. 2 days ago a copy sold on eBay for $32. Craig Moerer has got a copy for $100.
  12. WOW! That was fantastic!
  13. Atlantis and Contempo?
  14. The Staple Singers LP is called "This Time Around". The Bobby Bland LP is called "The Soul Of The Man".
  15. No, neither of them are available on 7". At least not as official releases. Two great tunes there.
  16. I like "Let It Flow" as well. Only have the 7", haven't heard the entire album.
  17. The soundclip above is from the 7". Fairly low sound on it due to its length though. Truly mental stuff! I love how it is constantly speeding up throughout the song. £35 is a bit much for this 45. These guys have loads of copies at £20 each: https://www.soundsoftheuniverse.com/releases/?id=7919
  18. Hopefully this autumn. I'll let you know when I've booked the flight.
  19. As far as I know, ALL COPIES of the 45 were sold out prior to it being mentioned on any northern soul forum. It had probably only been mentioned on the funk forum, Soul Strut and the bands MySpace page when the copies dried up. So if they aimed the 7" release at the northern soul scene, then they failed miserably. The only person marketing this release to the northern soul scene, it seems, is James Trouble.
  20. It was Glenn Dorsey and co. The same Glenn Dorsey who did "Movin' On" as G.D. & The Big J on GOOD. More info here: https://www.soulwalking.co.uk/Joneses.html

Re Oliver: You're welcome! Re Doroty Berry: I disagree with you, it does crop up often for sale, both on eBay and from major US dealers. The reason her other Planetary 45 crops up more often on Popsike than "Shindig City" is probably because it usually fetches higher prices. One of the latest copies of "Shindig City" on eBay (March 2008) sold for $49.99 with one bid. Here's the link: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=230227051232
  22. Thanks for the comments! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Manship is currently auctioning a copy of the Frank Eddie 45 if you're looking for it.
  23. Hopefully the Kings Go Forth material will recieve much wider recognition than getting plays on the northern soul scene which whether it does or not is pretty irrelevant in the great scheme of things.

At least one copy per month. Sometimes more.
