  1. Which one do you mean? "Miss You So"/"Aw Shucks Baby" surely isn't more than £25? I do agree with you if you're on about "Just A Little Bit" though. A damn hard 45 to track down. Leo Price at £700. Wow. My copy is up for grabs if anyone needs it. Thanks for the prices, Mike!
  2. TB prices for the following would be nice: Fredrick Knight - Steppin Down - MAXINE Leo Price & Band - Hey Now Baby - UP-DOWN Homer Banks - Sweetie Pie - GENIE Tiny Topsy - Just A Little Bit - FEDERAL

    That seems about right.

Dakar often used Atlantic for their european releases. Strange but true. I've got Tyrone Davis "Can I Change My Mind"/"A Woman Needs To Be Loved" (now there's a double sider! ) on german Atlantic with a picture sleeve and that one has got a big centre as well (many german releases seems to have a big centre). Otis Leavill "Why Why Why" on Dakar isn't exactly easy to track down, but £75 is slightly over the top to put it mildly... ...even though the flip "Glad I Met You" is decent as well.

  7. I think "Don't Give Up" by Cassietta George which was mentioned above is amazing (as is much of her other stuff but not in a very "northern" way). I really like the following as well: Jean Austin - Don't Have To Worry- SONGBIRD Salem Travelers - Give Me Liberty Or Death- CHECKER

Craig Moerer has got two copies right now on his site for $75 each...

I've listed a bunch of 45s on eBay, both some "rarest of the rare" type stuff like... Gwenn Douglass on MICHELLE Mill Evans on TOU-SEA Gloria Fowler on C.J. ...plus more obscure ones. Check them out at: https://search.ebay.com/_W0QQgotopageZ1QQsassZpushkings All of them has got sound clips and label scans. Thanks for looking!
  10. I unfortunately don't own the 45, but here's a scan of it:
  11. A copy of this LP sold on eBay a couple of months ago for £114. I guess the 45 of "Love, Let Love..." would cost you a lot more.
  12. The Action "I'll Keep Holding On". The Marvelettes version pales into insignificance when compared to it.
  13. Hello! On the topic of Robert Parker... if anyone's got a spare copy of the following... NOLA 739 - Soul Sister / Barefootin Boogaloo ...that you'd like to sell, please e-mail me at fonzeus@telia.com .
  15. Have you flipped it over? A very nice tune on the other side as well in my opinion.
  16. Hello! I've got the following 45 up for sale: Bobby Womack - Home Is Where The Heart Is - COLUMBIA w/demo - M- A beautiful copy of this in-demand dancer. It's got the same tune on both sides and is pressed on vinyl instead of crappy styrene. It's £35 including shipping. PayPal payments only please. E-mail me at fonzeus@telia.com if you're interested. Thanks for looking.
  17. Here's Gil Blanding. Fabulous tune!
  18. Hello! I've got the following 45 up for sale: Tommy Neal - Goin' To A Happening - PAMELINE The is the original yellow label copy. Unfortunately the vinyl looks like it's been in a fight or two and the flipside doesn't play very good, but "Goin' To A Happening" plays amazingly well. Definitely good enough for DJing. There's some wear and writing on the label. You can listen to an MP3 taken directly from this 45 here: https://w1.453.telia.com/~u45300516/tommyneal.mp3 One of THE best tunes ever in my opinion. It's £35 including shipping. PayPal-payments only please. E-mail me at fonzeus@telia.com if you're interested. Thank for looking.
  19. Thanks! Not in the same league as Shirley Wahls but very nice nonetheless. Check out the Shirley tune if you don't know it: https://w1.409.telia.com/~u40930316/Shirley...0Love%20You.mp3
  20. Sorry, can't help you with a copy, but if anyone's got a sound clip of this tune I'd really like to hear it. I've heard that it is supposed to sound quite a bit like "Because I Love You" by Shirley Wahls on Calla which is a big fave of mine so I'm a bit curious.
  21. £40-ish or less. A copy ended yesterday on eBay with starting bid £49.99 and no bids.
  22. What do you need to know? Value? Do you need a soundclip? Both of the Le Cam releases shares the same matrix number and timing so I guess they're the same recording. The LH 6107 matrix on the Soft release would date it to 1969-ish. The tune is poppy as hell with crap vocals.
  23. Does it exist? Is Major Bill Smith still alive? I recently found an absolutely bizarre 45 by him on LeCam: :o
