The Kent 45 release plays the full unedited 3:08 version which contains one extra verse. The lookalike Dore repro 45 at the top of the thread plays the same edited 2:07-ish version which appeared on the original Dore 45, right?

That's a pretty scarce Philippines(!) issue of that 45 on the eBay link above though! Patti Jo is the original version from April 1973. Curtis Mayfield is from April/May 1974. There's a also decent version by Melba Moore from 1979: Melba Moore released a version of "Ain't No Love Lost" which Patti Jo also recorded the original version of:

No, it's not true. As you wrote, there was a 7" released in Spain with two tracks from the LP: Step By Step - I Always Wanted To Be In The Band / Cash Money - ZAFIRO/BRUNSWICK, OOB 520, SPAIN https://www.discogs.com/Step-By-Step-Cash-Money-I-Always-Wanted-To-Be-In-The-Band-/release/4743287 There are no US 45 releases from the LP though.

Yes, it looks like the same person bought Jax Transit Authority and Chocolate Buttermilk Band. If that's not the case, it's quite a coincidence that the winners of both auctions has got the exact same number of feedback ratings.

I sold a M- UK issue of Skull Snaps on ebay in May this year for $192.50 / £115-ish. Five different bidders over $150 (all from the UK). I was as surprised as anyone.
