  1. Come on Tony Surprise us!! Who is it??
  2. I think it'll be good to have the price guide and detailed bootleg info all together. As previously mentioned half price or below is a bargain but factoring in the credit crunch effect will also come into play from now on IMO.

Great record from my youth club days never heard played out these days, might dig it out
  12. Had this on a tape for years, never heard it played out anywhere Great tune but my question is how the hell do you pronounce the groups name or is it the LMNOP's? never been sure about that. Not seen one for sale either
  13. I'm giving Kev a dig with this as he's got a lot on his plate at the moment. Hopefully will be able to get them posted back end of next week, I'm sure you'll all be patient BTW cant take any more requests for cd's sorry - cheers Steve
  14. Apologies if this has already been mentioned as I havent read the whole thread but has Steve Mancha - He Stole A love That Was Mine had a legit release on vinyl?
  15. Kev's been in touch with me this morning, he's got his son in hospital so if you dont get a reply to PM's you know why. Also this will obviously put the cd on the back burner for a while. Not got anymore details. Cheers
  16. Kev's drafted me in to assist here as he massively underestimated the interest in this I'll stick one in as well and there's another one from a radio show spot we've been asked to do so three for the price of one Like Kev says nowt earth shattering just good soul music PS Mr Cato next time you ship up in this neck of the woods you can get a ride to the venue in someone else's cart, keep insulting us like that
  17. With all due respect Beeks ( and I've got no axe to grind here ) that's complete twaddle. We've been posting playlists from our soul nght for 2 years and I've not noticed any of my cheap underplayed tunes soaring in value, I wish You seriously think posting a list of 25 of your top records will have any effect on anything?? I dont think so
  18. Agree with this Pete, top tune
  19. Had been going to the casino for about 6 months on the 5th anniversary as a skinny 17 year old so the tunes on the tape really strike a chord with me and bring back lots of memories. I agree however about the quality of some of this list not standing up to the 74 playlist and from this perspective it might be viewed as more ammunition for the wigan snipers, however quality by the bucket load was coming through or just around the corner in the form of Searlings 79 biggies ( Vickie Baines, Cecil Washington et al ) Great days
  20. Not sure what you're saying here James, in my experience the dullards playing boring unimaginative sets are usually the ones playing bootlegs
  21. Remember it well, it was my first time at Wigan and I can clearly remember Rob Wigley turning his nose up at it (78)
