I think the main interest is for the rarer ones such as the Wigan anniversaries. I recently sold a 2nd anniversary one for £47 and I think a first went for around £200. I also sold some general badges from the 70s such as East anglian soul club and a Whitchurch one, they fetched around £8-10

This is exactly when I paid my first visit to Wigan aged 17 and for that reason, I'm afraid to say Muriel Day reminds me strongly of the casino You're right in what you say Pete but as a casino virgin as it were I didnt see it like that at the time. Fortunately mr Searling saved the day later that year and in 79 with some of the best new discoveries ever IMO I think I've got the Coalville review in a fanzine from around that time
  5. Thanks for that Pottsy My copy doesnt have the 2 vertical lines, it has ZTSC125028 and "why" scratched in the run out and is vinyl moulded over. Regarding sound quality Ken the "Why Girl" side isnt bad but "What I Want" is definately not as good. As far as I can tell from JM guides etc, this wasnt booted but mine somehow doesnt look quite right. Any more thoughts?
  6. Could anyone post up a scan of an issue of this? Just so I can compare it with mine - Thanks

A dramatics went for £7 on ebay recently and I picked one up for £2.50 a few months ago. You wont get a better value double sider IMO. Like Kev says "Somewhere" is top notch and its likely boths sides will get a spin at the Attic on Sat. Like Big daddy says - two for the price of one
  12. Just picked up a copy of Five Stairsteps - You Cant See ( Windy C ) cheap. Gonna give it a spin at the Attic on Sat, wondered if anyones playing this at the moment or if its been played much in the past?

  23. Mer-lyn is on ABC paramount ( Annoying anorak head firmly in place ) Great record, been playing this for a bit as KevH previously mentioned ( blatent plug no2 )
  24. Completely agree with the above listing of records - all should be put away, never to see the light of day for at least 5 years along with a few others I could mention. All are on our "banned" list ( another blatent self plug )
