Too Much Choice?
I fail to understand why you think ovo is a 'bone of contention' and surely Walton 4/5 Soul club and you as a promoter/Resident DJ should be promoting that fact and not asking punters whether "'they are bothered either way' As Matt has said 'It's about mutual respect and integrity at the end of the day' As to your other 2 questions No I don't think it is at saturation point, the scene has many different genres to cater for which all fall (rightly or wrongly) under the umbrella of Soul music and why does it matter if venues are doing one event per month, surely if there is a need then the events will be successful in their own right.

Online Soul Radio - How Often?
Mods and Rockers show on Acacia radio with Shaun and Jonno unmissable Monday nights live at 6pm. Has recently moved from a sunday afternoon live slot to Monday, however, it is repeated on a sunday at it's former time of 2pm. Plays the very best of early British Beat and 6t's sounds including Rockabilly, only show on radio I know of, playing British Beat.

"love On A Lease Plan" - Johnnie Burke Or Johnnie Taylor
I have a copy of the sevens so I'm pleased it's legit, especially after having been informed over the years (now wrongly) that it wasn't legit. Has anyone any idea's on it's worth these days? The last I heard it out was at Burnley allnighter a couple of years ago, not sure who played it, although, I think it was the acetate that was played.

"love On A Lease Plan" - Johnnie Burke Or Johnnie Taylor
