  9. sounds like clapping to me. seems to continue for 4 bars, then into the chorus? probably ........
  10. Drum intro to Edward Hamiltons 'im gonna love you' i think the drummer hit a dustbin lid, instead of the snare drum EDIT: sounds like band leader twatted something on the 4, to bring the rest in on 1 ? it does it a few bars later as well ? hmmmm
  11. Very sad. if any record had to 'Epitomise' the Northern scene, it has to be 'You don't love me' RIP friend, i'm gonna play your song LOUD !
  12. Organ
  13. Surely the first 'Northern Soul' Niter was at the Twisted Wheel ? The phrase wasn't coined until a certain Mr Godin paid a visit . I know its a daft statement, but before that it was Rhythm & Soul , R&B/Mod clubs... same music obviously, but no 'Northern'
  14. Wonderful ! a little backing vocals would have made it extra wonderful

i have a copy of Brothers gonna work it out . it has 3 tiny edge cracks, but otherwise pretty much mint. the 'cracks' don't affect the playing surface, but because of this, you can have it for cost of recorded postage
