oddly enough my issue of this looks an absolute disaster but plays fine. I can take care of myself (gene chandler) looks even worse but has no fidelity loss.... good old vinyl

Actually, my mistake. I didnt make '77.... i first went in 78. Harrys mini bus, the Rice brothers, Paul Sadot, seems a bloody long time ago . very slippery dancefloor i recall. i also remember thumbing a lift there once, the truck driver dropped me off at Huntingdon station and i managed to get a lift with some guys who hotwired a car to get us the few miles to St Ives. I have no hesitation in saying that the recreation centre was a fab venue, the oldies room sticks in my mind as the best place to be at any soul club i've visited. pitch dark with just a light behind the decks..... even darker when Brian Rae's belly blocked the light

Well said! We go to a venue to enjoy the music & if you don't know a tune, but really like the sound of it....................why not get on that floor & enjoy dancing to it It's not a competition on how good a dancer you are! Debbie x

I know we all like to dance to our fav tunes but if i heard something i did not know..............if i liked it, i would dance to it Even our fav tunes were unknown to us at some point So i think its good to hear something that might not of been played for years, or even the odd tune that i have not heard before................... it makes a nice change I have said this before......................i do get a bit bored of hearing the same top ten tunes, especially when there is so many other great tunes that don't get played Debbie x

Wonderful record. I played this at the Right Track, Peterboro a couple of months ago.......... I like to spin a few long forgotten tunes, got plenty more
