Asthma is funny is it? if you were in Ryan hall during the daytime you would have seen a lass coughing her insides up! its not funny in the slightest! as for the 'jokable titled thread' , whats the joke? Debbie - I would not like to be left on my own in a room with this person, if i needed medical attention, he would just leave you there to die & laugh while doing it!

I had a phone call from my friend & she does suffer from Asthma, it did make her quite poorley, i would like to just say to anyone who does use the talc, please please just consider some other folk around you, try not to spray it in the air, but just point it towards the floor My other mate had a nasty fall a couple of years back & hit her head, from slipping over because of too much talc on the floor.

now a little talc is ok, but what do you think of this? It was'nt a one off, it was being thrown around like confetti. it gets in your eyes, throat (nasty), on your clothes and it ruins photo's thoughts please!

Debbie - Heard quite a few tunes on the Mod scene in the early to mid 80s, but the first one that stuck in my head was The Ivories-Please Stay, still love dancing to that today! , some of my friends stayed with the Mod scene & some of us moved onto the Northern scene, & my skirts became longer & full!

Action slacks means they are not Spencers, more like Marks & Spencers , with no pleat to the front, the ones that your dad wears with a tan belt & matching shoes, or trousers for the older gent, if you know what i mean??? (see pic) The Action Slacks man might also have got to the age where he wears plaid slippers or slip-ons, which are called (Eddie Shoes) I hope this helps?

No not at all. The Carstairs - it really hurts me girl & Johnny C - dont depend on me are 2 of my fave tunes. they have a decent tempo, both early 70's and both wonderful for a good old shuffle. theres a certain style of dance on the scene. A tune needs dynamics to keep the dancer on their toes. thats why some of us love the older stuff. it made the 'northern scene' what it is and with so many good 60's and 70's records around, a lot of us will keep going to venues IAN

Debbie - Its quite funny when you lot start on the clothing Im a she & no i dont have any bags, apart from a pair of 70s Biba trousers that look like bags but i have plenty of great everyday wearable clothes from the 1900s-1970s, this clothing was made well & built to last, not like the modern over priced rubbish you buy in the high street stores that everyone is wearing & is brainwashed into wearing! I dont do fashion, i just like to wear what i like! Does anyone on here have any action slacks! now tell the truth, as i have seen plenty of them about!

The best dancers i have ever seen are the Argentine Tango world champions, dancing with skill & passion! I just think that 60s soul has the edge, with more of a gritty sound , it has nothing to do with the tempo, i just find modern soul boring it will never do anything for me, & i have never said, & will never have the need to say, im a true soul fan, or a "soulie" , im just Debbie & i know what i like.
