  1. can't even remember the last time i saw something on this label that wasn't a B&tT 45 when buying records.
  2. yes, that's it, good detective work. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180808928063
  3. It's got that early Kenny Rodgers ("Just Dropped In"), later Bobby Darin ("Long Line Rider") feel. No Idea who it is though sorry. What does the label look like? Is it just blank?
  4. yeah, a 12" 45, horrible format.
  5. looks ok from here. think the boots are on the other designs.
  6. Kris Holmes replied to a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
I was expecting a tech thread about how to record your 45s to laptop
  7. did 2 shows today gospel & blues: https://www.ustream.tv/recorded/21506343 soul & funk: https://www.ustream.tv/recorded/21508877
  8. I dig the Morning Echoes Of Detroit "Upper Room" 45.
  9. thanks, just trying to work out the chronology of the Designer & Landra releases of this 45.

  11. anyone able to give me a rundown on the label credits for these two? Nike 1013 - Lonely Without You/Moaning For Molasses Jive 1004 - Lonely Without You/Time For A Change any idea which came first in 1962/1963?
  12. look forward to checking this out when it drops
  13. great funky soul instro, cheap & on point
  14. you do know it's called "Record Store Day" for a reason right?
  15. I'm a little surprised people would be expecting a live Tops or Tempts show to actually deliver the goods in this day & age. Caught them both a couple of years ago on the fly, fully expecting a corny trainwreck of a gig. Very average.
  16. terrible news, one of my favorite artists & to think I thought this was gonna be a thread about Bobby's grandson, Bobby Womack III...
  17. i'm also almost positive that a certain seller has unplayed stock of this......
  18. I have the comp & liner notes right here, it's really a great read/listen that people need to get. The instrumental is from the late 60s & is reused from a 45 on Richard Pegue's Penny label. Roy Wood "The Tale of Three Monkeys". Not a essential 45 really.
  19. recently comped on the Richard Pegue set by Numero. can't say it's really a standout track on there for me. usually about a $30 45, but will probably go up a bit in price after the comp. not really anything unknown or especially rare I'd have thought.
  20. just to be clear, i was only half serious about the keeping the money thing, forgot to add the " "
  21. give it another week, if no reply then keep the deposit & sell them to someone else who was interested instead. people get busy & if they want their money back they can get it back through paypal, no big deal. if they sent it gift then you win win, keep the deposit money outright for them being slow & then cash in with whoever else was interested, that way you get even more money.
  22. that was pretty cool of you to just give it to him
  23. i don't have the promo, only stock, never realized the two were different.....
  24. Good luck, that picture & story board which has been doing the rounds is appalling.
