Pitter Pats On Instant
The one I have "It Do Me Good" is I think from memory a Female & Male duet. Not a girl group, the backing is Huey Smith's band from the time (The Hueys or whatever name they were going by at that point). I searched a bit into this when I was searching about the Little Buck 45s on Seven B & The Hueys 45 which Little Buck is vocalist on. There is not a lot on the net & a bit of what there is seems to be recycled from what I've typed in the past. A name offered up is Brenda Brandon, but I was never sure if someone just came up with this from the B. Brandon writers credit on some of the related 45s of the time. Another name associated is Pearl Edwards who cut the original version of "It Do Me Good" & is known to have still been associated with Huey Smith at the time the Pitter Pats 45 came out. Pearl Edwards is credited on the later Pitter Pats 45 "I'll Never Forget". I never dug much further because it was only peripheral to what I was hunting, so I don't who the male vocal is. Hope this is helpful. Good luck, the Huey Smith stuff is a bit of a mess

I have to say, I struggle to find anything I need to file on this label. At the moment I have zero.

Rivingtons - Cherry/little Sally Walker On Liberty
Anyone know if it is correct that this got booted for the doo wop crowd on a white label promo with black print (instead of blue)? I like the version of "Little Sally Walker", but then I just really seem to like that song no matter who is doing it

Monarch Pressing Plant
how likely is it that the vinyl ones were pressed elsewhere using metal parts processed at Monarch? yesterday I received an upgrade on a Ronettes 45 on Philles where my previous copy was styrene but this replacement is vinyl with the exact same deadwax markings. Did other places use the delta number or is that strictly a Monarch thing? Because these Ronettes 45s don't have the MR stamp but do have the delta number.

Monarch Pressing Plant
Maybe a dumb question but..... Was Monarch pressing Vinyl & Styrene at the same time?

Charlie Rich - Mohair Sam
Do any copies of this play without distortion? I have had so many on US Smash & they all distort. Have I just been unlucky? Is there a vinyl pressing from somewhere which plays clear? The one on NZ Philips sounds like it was recorded off the US 45 as it played in another room.

Tmg Differences
yeah there was a thread on here a few months back regarding the fonts used, the obvious thing was the "roundness" of the "G" in "TMG", can't remember exactly how it went but you should be able to search for the thread.

Nathaniel Mayer - Village Of Love Lp On Fortune
Anyone got a purple label original of this? I've come across a purple label copy but want to do an original check on it. Also, can anyone run me a price check on the original vs the 70s reissue? I was thinking around $200-$250 for an original, but what about the reissue?
