Around $75 should be able to get you a clean "Have Love Will Travel" off ebay with a little patience. Little Gigi should run you maybe $100 more or less. Tommy Ridgley maybe $80? Ray Agee is about $50, maybe a little more if clean. I've not seen BB King on HMV before. The Vonns is pretty much the only expensive one, a clean one of that would run you about $150, maybe a bit more or less depending on the day.

I always thought the top one was first 60s press & the bottom one was second 60s press as far as the Fury label timeline went. Now I'm not so sure though...

wow, I didn't notice a 3rd variation where the lines stretch right across the label. The rest of my Seven B 45s have the lines going partway across like the last pic.

Is there any difference in authenticity between the two label variations of this 45? The one without the double black lines across the label below Seven B & the one with the lines?

If the Big Maybelle is clean it might be worth ebaying.......

ha ha, I clicked on this thread to add Jackie Wilson, I was reducing some of his weaker 45s from my collection the other day & he really does have some clunkers on 45s, pretty much the king of "one sider" 45s for a while in the late 50s/early 60s it seems. Some of his LP filler is pretty cheesy whitewashed pop as well. But realistically almost every artist who was striving for some sort of crossover or mainstream success will have some shockers in their catalog.

I have to laugh sometimes when ebay listings have a sound clip which don't do the record any favors. I was looking at bidding on a NM graded 45 a week or so back, played the sound clip & thought it sounded VG+ at best, so I didn't bid. If the seller hadn't had the clip I would have bid no question. Anyhow, condition is frustrating, I've been pulling out 45s to upgrade from my collection recently & I'm really struggling to find copies to improve the ones I already have with, I thought that with some of them "minting up" would be easy, but things aren't as plentiful as they used to be unfortunately.

how can people live like that?
