  1. I don't know alot, but I know the G4 would have sat very well in the box in the Potteries! Wonderful record, loved it for so long. A good price for a REAL rarity.
  2. I think we missed one or two, but that was it. Was ALWAYS in the calendar, always extended the wants list, much to the bank managers disgust! Jim.
  3. I remember a guesting dj at the Orwell with a t shirt that had the universal logo of a tent and underneath the legend 'MUSIC'. ...twas a real trendy catchphrase for a while...

I always thought the problem was that some djs just ' overdid' the R and B thang. ie? a whole hours spot! ..and this went on for some considerable time (as in years) Surely the point if your spinning at a SOUL night is to play a broad spectrum of sounds in your allocated hours spot. This overkill is really what stopped me going to Northern dos, I just got sick of it, and I'm Blues fan as well!
  6. Superb artist. Rather underrated by alot of folk I'm afraid. Best Jim.

  19. What's the worst (inyo) blind buy or recommendation you've ended up with? Mine, buy a country mile is' Ill be your woman till I die' by Vivian Reed. A terrible note for note dirge clone of the horrific Gary Puckett ' hit'. Awfully yours, Jim.
