Bobby Mclure On Cedric
I believe the Klondike release is shorter than Cedric and may even be a slightly different version? Not sure. Either way, Cedric is rarer.

OK Rod. Understood.

Buddy Ace – Pleasing You
Yeah.....................hardly loads around then, right?
-
Buddy Ace – Pleasing You
Agree, not rare. But I wouldn't say there are loads around? Where are these loads? When it does come up, it gets snapped up and price rise in recent months reflects the usual old principle of supply and demand.

Information On This Record
Sounds suspiciously like something recorded recently but designed to sound like 'Northern Soul'. Bound to be a Kings Hall DJ willing to pay £2K for it. Shite.

Cresa Watson-Salvation-Charay 90
Are we talking about the same thing hear, or have I missed some part of the thread? I think we are talking about "Salvation" on Charay (as in Robert Thomas), not "Sweet Temptation"?

It's a corker. On Youtube.

Sales/mel & Tim/ruby Andrews/dori Grayson/carol Anderson/patti Drew
Mike James Kirkland and Charles Mann are well cheap! Worth pointing out the other side of the Buddy Ace on Duke - storming dancer. Fantastic double-sider.

Price For Jerri Jones 'monkey On Your Back'
Not now my friend. Quantities might well have been about in the not-too-distant past, but that's the way with records, innit? Agree with Mace mind about "I'm A Slave" - both top drawer IMO, but Slave is the better record to my ears and happens to be far rarer.

Price For Jerri Jones 'monkey On Your Back'
Forget $100 as being a going rate. That's history. In demand record, many folk like you chasing it, copies seldom coming up = a lot more than $100 and rising, hence the feeding frenzy on that Ebay copy you mentioned. Best find one for sale first and then decide whether you want to pay the seller's asking price, because if you don't, I bet someone else will.

Advert On The Itv Today
Some 20 years ago, after watching the re-enactment of a Civil War battle whilst on holiday in Cornwall, my ex decided that she and the boys wanted to get into all that and they joined the Sealed Knot, an esteemed organisation dedicated to the re-enactment of battles from the English Civil War. Although fascinated by all matters historical, I had no more than a passing interest in the dressing up and battles etc; but, as the membership was a family one, I did go along to SK camps on a couple of occasions with the wife and kids and watched the battles from a distance (the wife and kids bought all the clothes and threw themselves into the whole Sealed Knot lifestyle). One time, another member of a re-enactment audience struck up a conversation with me, remarking "this must be fun, watching these battles each weekend" to which I replied "not really - seen one battle mate, seen 'em all". This is not to decry historic re-enactment societies whatsoever by the way, merely personal observations. It strikes me that there are a lot of similarities between the Sealed Knot and the whole retro-Northern oldies thing. Dressing up, reliving battles (all niters?) of the past, week-in, week-out.................. Re-enactment of a Wigan vs Mecca battle - "no fooking funk in 'ere! LEVINE MUST GO!!! A pox on your Papist new-age funk-tinged Northern. It ain't proper Parliamentary Northern!!!" Ex-Casino re-enactors outside Kings Hall, Stoke waiting to re-enact the fifth final night at the Casino.........or was it the sixth? Oh well. Onwards and upwards, sort of...... "Eat sh!t Stafford-boy, you beat ballad scumbag!!"

Advert On The Itv Today
It's a Shredded Wheat advert. Who on earth thinks any youth will be inspired to become a young soul rebel by a Shredded Wheat advert full of middle-aged people in retro clothes?
