Here in Burlington, Ontario we have a huge warehouse called the re-use center. It is basically council run to try and stop people dumping in the municipal tip.
Every Wednesday there is a queue to get in as Monday and Tuesday are the days they put out the new stock.
I have found tons of Soul, Funk, Jazz and Reggae in the 5 years I have been here including 45's by Tammy Wayne, Doug Banks - 2 copies, Tommy Yates, plus 100's of Motown, Northern 45's at 25c each.
They actually have a local record dealer who prices rare stuff before they put it out but that just means charging me $3 for mint copies of albums by The Monitors, Marvin, Bobby Stewart, Carla Thomas, Clarence Carter, Sam and Dave, the list goes on. Albums are normally 49c.
They also have free boxes at the entrance and in the last couple of months I have got Manu Dibango, Crusaders, Ahmad Jamal, Joe Farrell - Tamla and Billy Eckstine - Tamla albums in really good shape for nothing!!!!!!.
