..yes, but times are hard and payment had to be finished inbetween three days...that held me back...of course ..and a lot of others maybe as well as did it influence the selling price (downwards that is). If no rush in selling and more time for payment I am sure the next will make a lot more. sadly.

the last three thru ebay which are on popsike... VG+ 13/5/07 2650 USD G 05/04/07 876 USD ! VG 15/08/06 1325 USD keeping the 2625 for a vg+ in mind 1800 UKP for a minter seems a "bargain"...

I am shocked, just another loss of one of Soul music true greats. Just imagine what the Soul sound of the Crescent City would have been without him. Makes it rally sad day.

Think this is really a fair price...people should know that the very few copies that surfaced thru Johnny Mills maybe seven years ago have all long gone. The retail price back then was 600 UKP plus. So what price now ? This is a very rare and great 45.

There are copies on ebay almost every week for buy it now for as little as 299 USD and do not find a new home if that is any indication for you. Marc

More towards 250 UKP I believe, thats at least what I sold my copy for. Very nice tune but the recording quality is really very poor and always held me back from actually playing it out. Marc

Must be quite some copies on Ernestine Eady, more then 10 thats for sure. I can remember two going thru ebay, Carl Fortnum had one already years and years ago, one was up for grabs on here recently, most "known" DJ`s in the UK seem to have one as well ? Tommy Tate = Tommy & The Derbys ? Again, some copies of this...Butch, Maria Orlovic, Andy Dyson, Ginger Tayor and some more...

Three weeks ago I won a very rare item on ebay for a very small amount of money from a very well known UK DJ...paid up for it immediately and since then never heard a word from him. Of course no answers to my ebay messages and emails. Today I got a parcel delivered...in it a 10 UKP record. He is on deejaying very soon...maybe I`ll be there.

I have an Elliot Baron and Tony Michaels on Golden World and wouldn`t think they are THAT rare although they do belong to the rarer ones on that label for sure. There were recently two copies of Ric Martin up for grabs on here. Both around 800 UKP. Marc
