    What a legend , wrote Theresa Lindsey's " It's love " [ Correc tone ] and produced The Vonettes " Touch my Heart " [ Cobblestone ] and a million others .If only someone had interviewed him at the time ......The Chris Bartley and Spellbinders albums must be up there with the best Northern / Sweet Soul sets ever .......Best,Eddie

Hi guys , was browsing through some old "Voices " mags this week , and found this article on the Shotts nighters .Hope you can read it ok ....Although I wasn't lucky enough to attend at the time [ young family etc ] my old mate Rob Marriott used to rave about the scene in Scotland at the time .Best,Eddie

Used to buy the new releases from Graham , and the Northern sides from Steve Glover and Jan in Soul Galore .The shop next door used to give you discount off their clothes and shoes if you bought from Steve .Remember buying Jean Carn - If you wanna go back and Ruby Andrews - I got a bone to pick with you off Graham as new imports, though I must have missed loads of crossover / 70's sides which I'd love to own now ....Best,Eddie

  18. It means everything to me , a 38 year addiction and love affair that will never grow cold .I feel truly blessed that this music found me , what would I have done ? To still be involved in a music scene such as ours at the age of 52 is a brilliant feeling. If such a thing had been suggested to me in the 80's I wouldn't have believed it .And just when you think you've heard every record that's ever gonna blow your mind - another little gem comes over the hill side ........Best,Eddie
