You can buy into anything these days. The mid life crisis brigade used to go out and buy Harleys or have an affair with Janice from work. Now it's 15K Lambrettas and the local Northern Soul night where you can buy a "Best of Northern Soul" 2000 track cd for a fiver.

I watched on playback,she was the only artist I didn't have to fast forward! Like the track and those horns were amazing. Was nice to really hear the band playing to their full potential. She gets a bit shouty toward the end but I'll let her off as I like her :-)

I haven't been to the 100 much in recent years but I definitely prefer the cellar club atmosphere to the big ballroom type venue. I will have to combine a visit to my mate Lisa so we both can come :-)

Hiya Phil. Maybe I have got the wrong end of the stick re the screens. In my cantankarous mind I 'm thinking it's a cheat, there are so many blag merchants out there anyway they don't need any extra help. But a couple of you have said that it is just to prove you are playing the real thing...although some boots do look damn good these days so I'm not so sure about that :-) Maybe it curbs the mitherers from hassling the djs at places like Stoke, Who knows. I guess if the punters like it fair enough :-) Best Reg
