  4. I don't know and I only live a stone's throw away from Craig. I've heard of a "rammall" if thats how it's spelt. Dunno what it means though, people used to say it at school...
  5. It's no worse than Frankie & Johnny...the vocals are brilliant - better than Marvin & Tammi and Otis & Carla
  6. I didn't like that Billy Stewart treatment of it - though I do like Billy Stewart - love the Virgil Bros version though. They were Aussies I think.
  7. It was subtitled Theme From BBC's Wednesday Night Play or similar on the label
  8. St. George has a certain 'je ne sais quoi' about him
  9. Not enough synths and electric percussion in there for you??
  10. Always nice to hear that the artists are ok - Frank Howard case in point. There's a link on that blog to another track off The Beat which I never posted up, a really glorious group harmony record that many of you will definitely enjoy
  11. I'll swap you Lockes Theme for it
  12. It's not even double tracked...I really like this, in fact I think this is one of those extremely rare occasions where I like a record too much to sell it. Mike, I edit my own attachments so they don't stay up there forever wasting space, but the JB Hutto record had been left intact, obviously by me thinking I may need it again at some point...
  13. Anyone remember an instrumental version of the Ringo Starr track "Oh my my" being played briefly back in 1975?? Was by David Hentschell or something like that. Definitely played though.
  14. Nobody know the St george & tana thing thing then??? Doesn't half grow on you.
  15. Thing is John, if you just take a cursory glance at it, it looks good, then you see "Willie Huch and Bobby Hutton demo" and MVP's with the B side and think...hang on a minute...I reckon people just read the first few titles and assumed they were US originals.
  16. It's where they would have mastered it. Loads of people used the Apple studios.
  17. There's a job lot on ebay with some great titles but I don't think people have read the advert properly - the description makes it sounds like a really good lot but if you read it closeley, they are nearly all reissues... https://cgi.ebay.com/Job-Lot-150-Jukebox-7-...tem160049705363
  18. But it's two women...
  19. Mixed with that Fairy active foam, it's lethal! (the fairy active foam is definitely the best record cleaner I've used though...put it on a dry record, wipe it round so it coats it, play the recrod then was under the tap, the amount of crap it lifts out is amazing)
  21. Maybe this will work /index.p...ost&id=4960
  22. Wow it's still up here after all this time, fcking fantastic - but I don't know how to link to it, it's in my attachments folder
