Quality Packaging
Thought I'd share this with you as I've never seen anything like it before. Recieved a record this morning and it was packed in a jiffy bag with what more or less constitutes a plank of wood to stop it bending, look how thick it is! Record was safe as houses.

Record Lists From The Past
Yep, all Ree copies are boots (or reissues), there's no such original label as Ree for The Jades. The yellow Nite Life ones must have come out several years later.

Impossible Track To Identify?
So is that it then - the first time Soul Source has never been able to come up with an artist or label for a track?
-
What's The Story? (The Duck)
Yes I can sort of remember the logo - that's a boot I don't remember seeing before as well
-
Brilliant Unknown Northern Track
No, not allowed to, I'll post it when refosoul comes back up though. Anyway I've tracked down the company who put out the video and have written to them askin if they can give me any information.
-
Brilliant Unknown Northern Track
No Dave, absolutely no idea, I think we can safely say that it's called I've Got The Right Kind though
-
Brilliant Unknown Northern Track
I went back to the original DVD, god knows where I downloaded it from, but I've had it a good 7 or 8 years, went to the end credits, and guess what - the full version was there over the closing credits!

Impossible Track To Identify?
Linked to sales as suggested

Brilliant Unknown Northern Track
Asked about this before, not one response, here is an audio clip, it's only 30 seconds so should be ok as an MP3 I think, it is a vocal to the track that came out on UK Sue credited to The jaybirds and it's called The Right Kind. This is the only audio source I have of it and it's taken from the intro to a video called Triple X rated Trailers Of The 70's! the right kind.mp3

Impossible Track To Identify?
I wasn't sure about that as I thought I might get in trouble for doing it that way!

Manships Auction Results ! What
The original quote replaces the word Americans with Romans, Steve, surely you knew that?
-
Irish Issue - Anyone Else Seen One?
Cos it was recorded in 1968, they just messed about with it a little in 74

What's The Story? (The Duck)
You know what, I'm starting to recall something now you've mentioned that label name
-
Impossible Track To Identify?
Well I've put it up on divshare but I'm not sure if I can put the link to divshare up so if someone could clarify that would be appreciated.
-
Impossible Track To Identify?
Bit of common sense though?
-
Impossible Track To Identify?
Chalky it was a tiny 30 second clip in poor quality, of a segment of a song nobody knows, for goodness sake, whats the difference of it being her or being in sales? If i were decent quality full length I could understand

Sorry no mp3's of any kind on the forums, only place they are allowed is sales. No exceptions, once you allow one others follow, sorry. Hopefully refosoul will be up and running in the near future.

Original Or Re-Issue (Aka Pressings) On Ebay
Tommy Navarro bootleg here, no mention of it being as such, plus it's a UK press and it's described as a US one - look at the centre of the record https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NORTHERN-SOUL-TOMMY-NAVARRO-US-JAC-CRIED-MY-LIFE-/200635340983?pt=UK_Records&hash=item2eb6cc58b7

Just Got This
It's a bootleg anyway, thought nothing to do with Goldmine as far as I know

So if you use the checkout system on the site and it charges you postage, I'll refund it. N.B. Overseas customers please do not choose postage to UK! What's The Story? (The Duck)
Hold up my hands and say I did not know that, sorry folks. Am totally astonished that I've never heard of that in 35 years!
