  1. and it's a bootleg of an LP only track
  2. Well then, yes, but it would be known as something else so it would be unreleated to the northern scene. Sorry, can't explain what I'm trying to say.
  3. Well take them away and start a separate scene and disassociate yourself from Northern Soul then.
  4. OK well take away the 60's music and see what you're left with.
  5. Ther Northern scene IS 60's music, what on earth are you talking about?
  6. I can't remember seeing a white demo bootleg - didn't I sell a white demo "Al Scott" copy on here last year, a scan of should still be there. The bootleg I know is so easy to spot, it just looks recent let alone checking the run off or plastic.
  7. She'll know it from a fairly well known version by Nat King Cole...
  8. It went through a massive low with modern included - 1981 to 1986 mainly
  9. 1 yes 2 no 3 no
  10. It's the same record Mark, the wrong side must be up
  11. No, but you are right about the Power Exchange release
  12. It's always been a northern soul site, right from the start, other styles have been included but it started off as a northern soul site. I'm talking way back in the 90's.
  13. If every dj had an exclusive set there would be no northern soul scene. We always spoke of the country's top records, not the dj's top records - a record would go big and all the dj's would try to get a copy, it would be massive sound everywhere for 3 months - and then would usually be dropped. If every dj played totally different records then there would be no country-wide big sounds at all.

You've surely got to be mistaken - they wouldn't play a non UK released non USA chart single, especially one that sold nothing. They may well have played their other single, You are the one I love - but not by them, by Harlem Jons Reshuffle. Anyone getting more than 20 quid for a copy is very lucky
  15. Yeah I 'sort of' do, I've got about 30 or so but it's not quite my field of expertise, but if you want them valued I could probably do that for you if you get time to do a detailed list.
  16. It's not really worth anything. It was also issued as "Crying All Night" (on President I think)

  19. I found a copy of this on a website recently, I think it was based in Holland, so thinking I'm going to get a bargain here...until I saw their price...$800
  20. It's real, value about £30/40, reason it's not gone up in value is because someone found a boxfull of red issue copies so it went from 50/60 down to 30 quite quickly.

No it's a 45 with the same title, same artist but totally different song. Had it once, don't even think it was northern to be honest.
