It's That Sunday Quiz Again
Got my usual Sunday hangover - although this time it's due to Eurovision. I drew Norway in the sweepstake and one again I can say with all confidence I was robbed. Bloody tactical Voting! Anyway, back to the "who is it" quiz. Clues will be given if we're struggling and winner posts next piccy. Ok then, this beauty had a couple of soul type tracks - one of which was briefly spun at The Casino. Godz

Got a few records that are less than mint. As discussed on here before, I prefer to deduct up to 50% for VG copies and a bit more if neccessary. Can I have mint prices for these three so that I can do the calculations, please. Sugar Dumpling
ok mate, but only the broad stuff - no classical referrences. My Rubens gag fell flat on it's arse in the "Who Were These Guys" thread Back on topic though, I think I was too smart for my own good. According to Google the BM release was Gerry Jackson and the Chantells. oops Godz

Sugar Dumpling
Yup. Black Magic was for comedy effect. I'd best stick to the day job Godz

Anyone Else Get This
oops just re-read it. Uwe has obviously sent this as a warning about H Love Godz

Anyone Else Get This
I dealt with a German guy called Uwe a few weeks ago and all went smoothly. Maybe he's sent the email to the wrong person. I'll find his eBay seller name if you want. Godz

David Huff "mary Browne" On Mgm
I must be out of step then. I thought it had a nice string arrangement but was neither a soul record nor a decent pop dancer. More like Steely Dan type MOR to my ears. Still, different strokes and all that Godz

Have You Got Real Soul In Ya Bones
Sure, I have Bobby Mclure (Peak of Love - great dancer), Tommy Tate (as Tommy Yates - Darling Something's Gotta Give - ace midtempo). I also have loads of blue eyed / garagey and beach sounds - because I like them On top of that I collect funk records, Film and TV themes, and have an enduring love of Manchester based guitar bands (Joy Division, The Fall, Buzzcocks, Magazine etc etc) So I guess all in all I'm a bit too poluted and impure to "Profess to be into Real Soul" Here comes the Master Race Godz

Wanted 4 A Good Mate
I don't think there's a curved logo issue either. And there's another way of telling. If you look at the edges of the push out centre you can see that the paper on the labels of the reissues is actually pink on the underside. Originals are black (or maybe really dark blue). Works for Mickey Moonshine too, so maybe it was something to do with the paper Decca was using at the time of those second issues. Godz
