Nope, for some reasons (why is that I still don't know for facts) some major companies and less major ones, didn't issue promos for some of their releases. As to Dobie Gray on Charger I know only of the 'in crowd', 'in Hollywood' & 'my babe' as promos but not of 'out on the floor'. Maybe doesn't exist.

this is the Canadian release . Sometimes an American 45 will have two or three releases on different Canadian labels, but the Wand showed here is an USA release. I never saw a Canadian Wand by memory. There are few odd releases on Wand made at different pressing plants and consecutive runs variations due to change of ink, shortage of pre-printed labels… here's one;

There isn't one way. It all depends on the sort of paper of the label, the ink they've used and if it was "plastified" or not. Then there are the differences of glue used for the sticker. How old the sticker/glue is... So, I'd say that I've learned to leave some in accordance with the sticker wich will be less "damaging" than to reveal an "ugly/nasty" sticker tear/mark on the label. Some just need a peel. Some do need a little "fuel" soaking (BE careful/cautious about some ink used on label can react to fuel and leave some ring discoloration) before/after peeling. Some do need to be scrapped gently... It's a whole science IMHO.

There's a white (fake promo like) label bootleg. No original demo as such for this Turbo release like it's the case for many early Stang and Turbo stuffs.

Thanks for that, see it works better to get witch copy were on about. Most of Steve Mancha's 'FN' are in similar condition. With the grading only as G it putted me off. Plus the sound clip is very critical/edgy. If accurate, I wouldn't pay the quarter of that to pass it on to someone with little budget. And if the sound clip is only a poor quality recording not doing justice to it's real play grade on a good system, it's a risk I wouldn't take. And indeed the minty and Ex copy of 'FN' are worth the double of any Vg since they are scarcer. So 82 £ (+P&P & maybe VAT...) is way to dear IMHO to call it a bargain.

Back on the track, my mate brought it back realizing that he couldn't let go of his other stuffs after all. So I'm looking to trade this for northern soul in the classic mould (6T's or 7T's) that must be in nice and clean condition. So no OK to DJ with... I will also consider offers in cash. Actually I'm on mac, loved it (before all the i-things & me.com…) & hate it now (pod, pad…pud?!), hipster brand of gadgets nowadays but back on the subject wether I use Safari, Opera or Firefox, the problem remains. Now I'm connected on an office line that first goes through a server that is highly protected with Firewalls and other security devices. Could that be the problem ? But then why on some sellers items and not others ?

Well, I posted this quest looking for a cheap original but playing strong copy for a friend (see 'wants' section here) and this thing happened to me again trying to look at that evil-bay item. But on a small side picture it didn't look in good shape anyway. Otherwise I still don't understand why I can't access some items on the evil-bay.

Well, after all that after-math, I guess it's all because of Billy Stewart. Maybe I have a case and will win the Jack-pot… Since the Evil-bay will shadow my options I will toss my zillions dollars on other auction sites…

Hmm, I'm getting weary... try this one for example (item 261598411131) and tell me if there is something not politically correct with the item, it's description or the seller ??? Is it really to do in accordance with my country (Belgium) or is it something else ? What has Billy Stewart done to upset the Belgian authorities ? I read like everyone else I believe and understand that maybe this seller has intentionally (or unwillingly with the last very annoying putting on e-bay process that needs to be tamed) block bidders from certain countries like Belgium. Could it be that ? It would just read "do not ship to such and such countries" I'd have guess ?
