Doesn't that explain some of it. Nice as it is to hear familiar toe tappers and sometimes only that will do, maybe. You may have to sit through 10-20 average to medium, even awful ones but isn't it all worth it when that chin-dropper you've never heard before comes on. More of the same may keep it going but the quest for new ( hopefully) will bring on more.

I sold it on to a collector for parts as I didn't want to bother with it. The one thing they all had in common though was a tracking weight of about 3 1/2 lbs. So all your 45s were Deep Groove after a while

It never ends does it. I've been getting shovelfuls of emails about this. Have you been lucky enough over there to get it? What with that global shippy thingy and this it could cost you a fortune to get your stuff lost in the system. Apart from anything else - 20 minute pick up!! On an average day you couldn't get down my block in 20 mins with the trafiic.

It's gonna be a roller coaster for a while while you sort out the in / out thing, possibly solvable if you do whatever the right thing is in June, and we decide after the conventions which psychopath to elect. They've never even come near me with it, and I'd certainly notice it and bag it if they did. It's getting tougher to sell over there mostly due to the mail insanity ( although the rate at the mo doesn't help) but still doable. Not so much for people on EB one at a time but for those that pay as they go and then ship when they have a few to make it worth it.

I have no idea why anyone would get involved with this Global Shipping thing, any extra link involving a load of corporate jobsworths can't end well. I don't think there a particularly strong $ it's more a weak GBP since the US increased interest rates and you didn't for one thing. All this Europe in /out isn't helping either. Don't worry though, if the insanity/stupidity continues and that lunatic clown Trump gets anywhere near the White House the $ won't be worth squat in 5 minutes. When postage rates here went up in January it was very vague beforehand but it seems now that 6-7-8 oz which is 1 or 2 maybe 3 45s is $13.50 but from 9-1lb it jumps to $22.50 which is bonkers. So all in all for the rest of this year it's gonna get much worse / better whichever way you're coming from.

Just a thought. I had a cd player for a while but like I said. Not for everyone, but I like it.

I suppose I'll need me tin at for this but Hook up a cassette player in the car. If you can't, some local will be able to it's quite simple. Car Cassette players are about 2 bob now . I have one in mine and I know there is the instantness of whatever you hook in now, but there is something about the clunk as it goes in and all the nonsense that goes with it that's somehow ................... That's my take anyway. I'd take them but you probably won't be near here and I won't be there and the mail would kill me.

Can't argue with any of that Chalky it's a different world completely now, and sadly they all seem very happy with the way it is . Enjoyed the article immensely, it's 90% news to me as I wasn't even close. When I was over recently I was again impressed with the dedication shown at the couple of nights I went to.
