you will probably have to pay allot, its up there as the most collectable release, or there about.. There is a, err a reissue? or maybe Bootleg on ebay which turns up, and I think the Ace group might have re released it on one of their more Funk / Jazz labels.. Good Luck Mal

God Knows Mick.. I'd say a guitar.. but what do I know... I do think you should seek out the 100 club footage of him singing it for sheer feeling, especially when he hits that note mid way..and the club goes crazy... you can see the confidence it gives him knowing they all know it, and they all Love it..!! This is a good one, especially in Australia... I've been trying to figure out what releases went with which sleeve for ages, and I have it from two of the top Aussie collectors (Frank D, George) that they came out in which ever sleeve was available.. For example, Festival released loads of labels such as Atlantic, the label had two different designs, pure Green (Silver Lettering) releases, and Green and white striped releases, they all seem to have the same sleeve, with Atlantic is Soul toward the bottom..in Green and white.. maybe it was just cheaper.. Also I've been after Aussie Sue Sleeves for ages, only 6-7 tracks were ever released on Aussie Sue, but I have never seen a sleeve to go with, everybody I spoke to said they are simply white..so they just took advantage of white sleeves that were available, although they would have been distributed by Festival.. You can tell the orig white sleeves over there by the top of the sleeve, usually it will have jagged edge..you also get allot of Plastic printed sleeves, which look great when Mint, but crap if ripped or messed about.. which is normally the case.. They also had generic sleeves with a host of the labels represented / printed on the sleeve, Festival mainly did this... Anorak enough for ya!! Laughs Mal.C.

Ok, so the studio cut made a UK release on HMV... you live and learn.. personally I love both her released versions on this song, so I had to have em both!!! M

Just out of interest I bought a Live version of this on here 2 months back on UK Stateside, Must have also come out on ABC over there, or was it on the LP? Anyhow if you have the normal release I'd track this down also, as its a KILLER!!! Good Luck. Mal.C.

Pete C, and steve Bish had some nice tracks, I had totally forgot the Andrea Davis and chambers Brothers tune, killers!! Finally best newie to me that is, was from Tony T, Rick James - Fool on the Street, absolute stepper, play the Family Underground beforehand and you got your self a PARTY!!! I just picked their other one up, Just a Little Step, which is brill track, ok its not Sweet Lover but for twenty quid..!! all there bar the track title...!! laughs

The Colt 45's - Lady, Lady (Jerry) - £450 I paid Manship £350 for this in 1997/8 set sale, so ten years or there about, you would have to say its a bargin??? seems to be a few about lately, saying that loads are selling up.. there seems to be an abundance of the so called rare ones every where these days.. Here's an interesting scan on this thread, Looks very like the Classic release, same orange circle on a yellow label, logo in the same place and in the same type face, but says Pearce?? so this is in fact a mix of the two label releases...notice the address is somewhat the same also.. Anybody? Mal
