Stan Ivory - Come on and Live 7" & 12" Releases Tese / Total Control Just got a 12" on this great track to find the brilliant Jazz / funker "Stan’s Theme" on the other side, a bargin for ten quid.. Anybody know whether the original Tese 7" had the same flip? Only ever heard of 2 maybe 3 copies on Tese so a real rare one I can only imagine owning... also got an Al green on WD RCA for a fiver, somebody had that at £50 on here this week, surly not? Mal.C.

Was in Roger Stewart's shop last Friday, he mentioned some Soul who had sent him a sales list and read out a widely used term underneath the track listing "Sounds Like a £1000 Tune!" So what does a thousand pound tune sound like then? Mal:)

Thats interesting cause when I bought my LP and 45 from Chris at Groove Merchant in Sept 05, he said he was expecting Giles to come over as he was in town.. the rest is History as they say!! Mal:)

How about Inspirations - Gotta find a New Love? So a version comes out on a Kent CD, then that version gets a "release" or probable Bootleg??? on a Soul Supply White Label 45, while a second version is given to Butch to spin out and eventually gains a Legitimate release on a Benn-X 45, both versions are out of this world in their own right and well worth owning! Bit of everything in there!! mal>C

That "Can't lie to my Heart" sure is a top track, never rated the flip personally, but I suppose it was the beat which appealed? Heres a more essential KILLERS in the same vein as can't lie! Well he would.... Obviously Nothing wrong with wanting top dollar for your sales, I just feel the allot on the Uk collecting scene just keeps driving prices up without real reason, sorry but five pound records going for 30-40 Ukp is just silly.. but hey 'The scene' was doing that long before I started in the mid eighties, and I've no doubt the bottom will eventually fall out if it... Where will we be then...? happy as a Pig in a pile of worthless old dusty 45's ! never fear I'll be at my house in my own pile! Laughs Mal:)

Not really, VG+ copy, nout wrong with it from a major dealer who has a web site and all that... You lot make me laugh, I keep seeing all these BIG prices banded about for these records, of the onse I have on occasion I've paid the top going rate in pounds and all that, obviously I shop about but some on here seem to think collecting records revolves around the Uk and the Norven scene and you pay what some idiot paid on soul source last week, believe me there are literally hundreds of other shops, collectos, dealers overseas, if you buy from them you wont have to pay silly prices.. Dukster, thats just the way it is.. Mal

You can get this as low as £60 Ukp, which is what I paid, 60-100 Uk sounds right as there are a few out there.. £150 is just silliness IMO, but hey if your fool enough to pay it, who am I to say.. Mal:)
