  1. Pretty sure "Back On Top" the original issue didnt have the canned audience steve
  2. This also came out as one of those MFP (music for pleasure) LP's in the 70's Same track listing. It's titled "The O'Jays Live" but unfortunatly they decided to put that canned audience effect on the LP. completely ruining the LP! making it one to avoid some great tracks on the LP, amonst the standard O'Jays oldies, I just love the very crossoverish "Just Another Guy"... wish it had gained a 45 release steve

  4. Loved the Undisputed Truth, esp. their Motown stuff before Norman Whitfield took them to his own label. And indeed loved Tyrone's Mah's sides at Mike Hank's label along with fellow UT member Calvin Stephenson in the Magictones, Also loved Magictones "Happy Days" disc at Arman Boladian's Westbound label. Not wanting to upset the knowledgeable ones... but it still a "line dancer" to me, just me opinion, we all have 'em steve ps. main man for me in Undisputed Truth gotta be Joe Harris, his lead vocals blew me away!
  5. Our lass always rec's it sounds too Country like a "Line Dancing" record. so one night we put a YouTube video on of a bunch of "Yeehars", turned the vol down, I put TB on... and low and behold they danced to it perfectly! So I have to agree wid our lass.... Its a "Line Dancing" record! steve heard the Del-Royals a few weeks back and have to say imho it sounded a lot better then TB
  6. Roger!.... Little Anthony on these shores for possibly the first time ever... Would love to see it myself mate!... said it before, but I think one of the "weekender" promoters needs to get him over here! steve

  10. cheers Jordi, but don't make it too popular steve
  11. Sorry boba, misread what you said, I've seen it top $75 before now (and that was a US buyer), and the same UK dealer has beat me to it twice now. Condition for this one would have to be mint for me, as you say it's styrene, and you know how quick styrene loses its quality. Tho I went for the one last night even tho it was only VG+ coz I was sick of missing it! (mind the sound file on buyers listing sounded dam good!) ATB steve
  12. It's in demand with me! Ive been tryin to get a copy last few years, and always get outbid, must admit I didnt think it was a track that many would be after, got pipped again on that copy last nite But after a natter with a mate, he rec's he's got me one! it's a great early version of "That Lady" quite a haunting tune Oh and it did come out on US boba! Ive seen black US issues steve
  13. Ooo agree wid ya there Dan, so much better to hear it as a Soul tune rather than a pop tune imho steve

..sounds bout right to me Bri, Andy! think the date ya see will be the original publishing date of release states side, Bit like say... Adam's Apples "Dont Take It Out On This World" the Uk Brunswick shows a date of 1963, even tho it a 70's release over here steve
