Confession time. I did put it in my box, but in reality it wasn't good enough to put in with the rest of my set at Skegness....there were probably 99 records ahead of it in terms of quality, so it stayed firmly put away at the back of the box.

Why would you bid on such a knackered record?......it's not as if it's a total one off or something.....back in the day a copy in this condition would have been trashed....now it seems everyone and his brother wants it. Madness.

Still a few towns with a strong northern following, where the cinemas aren't showing it yet....keep on going!

I quite like Des and also Parker, Lady Penelope's chaufeur....

100% - I have a stressful day job that also means sometimes I want nothing other to do that chill out at weekends on the patio with a glass of wine or watch a movie....eminently preferable to driving about the country every weekend to hear Eddie Parker, Elbie Parker and Milton Parker.

Many of us don't care how many venues there are, we only go to the ones we choose, when we can. I don't want a scene dominated by big names like the 70s - it's much more fun being a "levelish" playing field....although obvioously the backscratching and "mates gigs roundabout" is still working overtime.

I find it amazing that people are so easily fooled these days....

If you wanna get into detail Mal, it was also re-recorded and came out on Art a couple of years later.

It really depends what you have....rare photos of rare soul artists can fetch money, southern soul acts too.

There is a very rare late Philly Groove release, I cannot for the life of me remember what it is now. Think Richard S had it at one time......
