Sometimes buyers don't help themselves, I posted this elsewhere: https://www.ebay.co.u...9#ht_500wt_1413 not getting into how good/bad the record is if the buyer was really desperate for the record why didn't they get the buy it now and save themselves £18!

are some ebay buyer not aware of things, going for £25 whilst there was a buy it now going for £6.99 (which I thought was overpriced), have I missed something?

Like coming onto the scene, I've come onto this topic late so a lot of what i believe has already been covered. I will say I was surprised that you don't need membership cards at the nights I've been to, it was standard practice at one time. It does allow some control (if not much) and members can sign others in if they want to, and it wouldn't be too much hassle in my mind. There again I'm new and have never seen incidences referred to in this topic.

It was March 1969 I believe the song Sorrow on Rare Earth Records RS 506, RS 505 being Blues Helping by Dave Edmund's Love Sculpture - so I'm not sure who they actually signed first.

I think the best blind buy for me goes to my sister who at 10 year of age in the late 70s bought for me a set of 12 records from a school sale. (Stateside - SS 478) Kenny Lynch - what am I to You ( HMV POP 1321) The McKinleys, - Give Him My Love (EMI Columbia - DB 7583) The Paramounts, - I'm The One Who Loves You (Parlophone - R 5155) Nearly all were Demonstration Records, and the reason I can list them easily is I still have them.
