    Del-Rays best version imo.

Aye been said lots before in here, a record is worth what you're willing to pay. Wouldn't lose sight of demand over rarity with the prices though.

I reckoned this at about £40 to be honest. Not rare and does show up on Ebay from time to time. Dave is entitled to ask what he wants for his record, but I think a hundred quid for this is ott. Unsure if he's flexible on that price ... Or there is always the second chance offer from the first poster who said he had one .. if that makes sense!

.................What? .... Rip our members off for seventy quid?
  5. Simsy replied to a post in a topic in Record Wants
Thought it was half that ..?

Come now your sides are fine! But if you're gonna take the piss out of dead Ebayer's spelling ...
  7. I remember this when it used to be in the old sounds gallery. Vocal is very white and off the mark, but I like it in a cheesy mod sort of way. Any chance you could mail me the full clip mate? If you've not binned the cd that is ...

  10. Looks more like an intensive work out than a dance. More of that and she'll be able to fit into a size 12 thong.

Christmas do at Green Onions in Hertford was good, apart from the car getting locked in the car park all night. NYE better evening of the two. Agree with the above, spot on.
  12. Flip is 'I'll be waiting" yes?

  14. All you say about Maconie is true, though (imo) he is still more soulful than CC. As previously stated he was from Wigan and went to Wigan amongst other Northern venues. As an NME journalist obviously he developed other musical tastes. He is a huge fan of the Smiths. I think you're just bigging him up because of his funkyness Si. Seriously though, I can't see him championing the finer points of the Fascinators, but who knows.. Hey some 'All Singing All Dancing" is better than none. As most folk will probably be jollying it up NYE, the real debate (perhaps) will happen after his show. Lastly, not a huge fan of the guy personally, but good luck to him and I hope it goes well.

  16. Actual want? Or general enquiry?
  17. Wondered why Stuart Maconie swerved All Singinging All Dancing this year ... ££££'s Bit of a faith keeping shame, he's pushed for time and brimming with cash?
  18. Well Maconie was from Wigan. Maconie went to Wigan. Had indepth chats on previous shows with people of the likes of Ginger Taylor, Ady Croasdell and Sir Richard Searling. Former NME journalist rightly had sufficient depth of knowledge on the subject to justify broadcasting such on a major radio station. Craig Charles ... Do admire the optimistics don't coat him before his kicked a ball stance. Put aside his career from the outset as angst ridden urban Scouse poet, sure some liked that and didn't find it stultifyingly shite. Put aside the ceiling on his alleged talent as being able to utter the word 'smeg' repeatedly on that wonderful Red Dwarf show, with other heart warming co-star charmers like Chris Barrie. Through in a rape allegation and bring to the boil, that's it that's it right there ... Toe tapping to a couple of commercial tracks someone else played to you on cd does not constitute anchoring your own show on the subject. So with an open mind and happy heart, wish him well and hope he's good.

  22. Not sure how you tell the real from the boot. Think below is the latter?
  23. Got the dodgy soul sounds Cecil Washington somewhere. Would NEVER play it out. Think Kev Roberts said his real one came from the man himself.
