  1. Steve Scotney always does excellent mixes that are well worth a listen... Dean Anderson's show as others and myself have mentioned
  2. I won't get rid of the mono. The transfer to stereo wasn't the best, it is ok but not as good as mono IMO. If I find the stereo I'll give you a shout. There are some mono from the USA which including postage are about the same as a UK copy https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/4299413?ev=rb#more%3Dships_from MM or M- here, (sleeve only VG) but I'd have bought I think if I wanted one https://www.discogs.com/sell/item/2662036266 Few other VG+ as well
  3. Excellent reading
  4. No mate, just my mono copy. Didn't think I'd sold the stereo?
  5. No guest this week, just 2 hours of great soul music with Dean and Jez.
  6. I gave some example of shows, I didn't have the time to find the links and I simply replied to Simons response to the shows I posted that a quick google should quickly find them. Use whichever search engine you are comfortable with, a quick search should find the links to the shows I posted.
  7. I was replying to Simon's comment when he quoted me, I gave some examples of some shows without the www, I simply replied they should be easy to find. If you don't like it sod off.
  8. They should be easy to find, ya know, google thing
  9. Mark Merry Soul Sermon Mick O'Donnell Soul Discovery Dean Anderson Sound of Soul Chris Anderton Dab of Soul Roger Williams Soulsorts

Terribly sad news. Great bloke and a terrific dancer, great supporter of the scene too. Condolences to Jayne and the family. R.I.P. mate
  11. Be tomorrow and it'll be the stereo version noir I have it
  12. I have both, stereo and mono, I’ll dig them out when I get home on thursday
  13. Album #2 I take it you want. You want the mono copy. The sound quality is pretty poor on the stereo copy. But if you still want the stereo one I have one I think but can’t look till Thursday
  14. She is on facebook
  15. I recorded it. If Joan says it is ok I will post it for others listening pleasure.
  16. Ian "Skeamer" Broadley joins Dean and Gez in the studio for two hours of across the board soul music.
  17. Its played out regularly if you go to the right places. It was hammered on the nighter scene a few years back as three or four top Djs have/had it. One auctioned a year or two back if I remember rightly.
  18. I have to disagree
  19. And this topic confirms what we are saying with the requests for examples rather than go digging which is what this topic was about.
  20. Just the 4. A couple were first released in 2019 or thereabouts with a relaunch this year. There was a topic few months ago I either started or commented on.
  21. Why are they condemning it? It was and is a major part of the all-night scene, from the original mods right through to today. Anyone who says different either walked round with their eyes shut or weren't there. For the majority, having your gear was just the same as having your fags, money, change of clothes, it was second nature and every bit a part of it.
  22. Both oldies by 1979
  23. Dean celebrates the anniversary of the opening of Wigan with Richard Searling selecting his Wigan in ten records. It is also the anniversary of the 100 Club so will no doubt get a mention.
  24. Go to voice? Wouldn't be so bad if he could tell the truth about some of it
  25. Andy Dyson played a good few at Ashton, he played another batch on Dean's show as did Tim Ashibende who played an hour all under £50
