  2. Think he did the same with someone other day, Kris Holmes??? There's a recent topic to avoid ebayer. Report him to ebay saying he has form as well.
  3. deffo a guy and a young one, sure he was only 14 or something like that when recorded. Old Guy cover up from Stafford.....if your interested in useless trivia like that.
  4. Billy share isn't Bohanna so back to the drawing board with that one. Guy says it is NJ label he thinks, something to do with Lenis Guess.
  5. Sylvia St Claire is the first one on the tape David, Patti Austin and the Pain Stains - Come Back To me. Maskmen got me stumped! What is Otis Valentine? Danny Moore which I doubt as Pat covered it as Leon Washington and Paris.
  6. Didn't know them all Phil. Still a couple I don't know, Melba Marshall being one snd not sure about billy sharae.
  7. I'll put you out of your misery Phil. Phil Terrell is an unissued acetate by the Jaggers, another version of the Commands No Time For You. Rocking Ritchie Adams is George Jackson on Mercury. The Billy Sharae is a 45 related to Lenis Guess in some capacity, not sure what or what the record is yet but someone might help? Could've been Bohanna on Scepter???
  8. Don't think it is Joey Dee on vocals, he's just the band leader??? Joey Gee I'm sure was only about 14, did have an article or was told some info but seem to have forgotten or mislaid. Don't know if this is the same Joey Gee here https://rocknrollgraffiti.blogspot.co.uk/2007/11/u-ps-joey-gee-met-radio-goal.html
  9. Amazon
  10. Play the cd/LP

  14. The flip is great as well Steve. Dunno if anyone else had a listen or what they think?
  15. Mark, I've got the book, unfortunately it isn't for sale but if it helps you can loan the book whilst look for your own copy. I don't live too far from you, just down the M62 in Goole.
  16. I would imagine most merchandise is in breach of copyright laws.
  17. I have I think most of the results up to his site being revamped, not was some time ago though, year maybe longer?
  18. If you search forJohn Manships auction result but do it via advanced search, add Joe's name as well and a date it should narrow the options.
  19. I should have said in reality not everything about them is good like it is being made out, particularly by the media.
  20. Their best release is the one on Vest (IMO), absolutely fantastic, both sides. Only ever seen one copy. You can hear one side in Andy's podcast on my site, last track...... https://www.soulunder...8b087ed9-5.html
  21. Having just read the blurb it looks that way. Simply a vehicle to send and receive money. I can't see anything for a failed business transaction, or in our case paying for a record and then not receiving it. It'd be good if dealing face to face with the seller but I certainly wouldn't use it for an "online" transaction unless there are safeguards like there is with a credit card if over £100???
  22. I read what you said Mike, thats why I said it It works both ways though IMO, I've heard nothing but good about them all day on the radio when in reality they aren't all good.
  23. It the one on Ole 9, "It's Time You Knew".
  24. If the rolling stones were so good to black artists and R&B how come Jagger and Richards get the credit for The Last Time when it is clearly based on the Staple Singers track. The Stones also took all royalties off the Verve for Bitter Sweet Symphony as they sued them for using more than the license they obtained allowed them to.
