  1. It was funny, there was a queue to get autographs and merchandise, Mick just walked round the. Ack of them all and round the back of the table, held everyone up for ten minutes while Mick signed autographs
  2. Here is the support act from Leeds the other night. Local Leeds Soul and Funk band Dirty velvet funking up Simon and Garfunkel's Sound Of Silence. Watch out for the awesome keyboard player. The guitarist weren't bad either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4XAIv84UUY
  3. awesome......
  4. You are probably right Dave with the "coming to a soul night near you soon". Trouble is anyone peering over the decks looks at something that appears to be real.
  5. either that or they haven't a clue what they are doing...which I find hard to believe these days.
  6. Just over £80. Jeez are they plain daft these buyers? They can get a carver or acetate done for £30 or less.

  11. If anyone interested some photos I took last night........ https://www.flickr.com/photos/crosseyedbear/sets/72157629382557062/ I'm not sure Dylan I could have filmed that track you were talking about, filmed about half dozen of Lee's and three of the support I think.
  12. I agree Marc, artists do forget and I've had artists tell me they couldn't remember certain songs being recorded or released. Don Gardner couldn't remember nothing when we first talked to him But both Jack Ashford and Lorraine seem to have all their marbles so no real reason to doubt anything they say. It is ok for some to say put up or shut up but maybe they should provided the evidence top prove Jack Ashford wrong? As far as I am concerned they are boots apart from the one that a deal was done for.
  13. I would have said the same too Steve. There's also a re-recording of it she did.
  14. Why do you find them tedious? They gave an opinion. If Jack Ashford says they were done without permission that is good enough for me and others as well it would seem.
  15. Thats different to denying it his her? Many artist couldn't remember what they did back then, I have trouble remembering breakfast somedays I'd be interested to see where she said this?
  16. since when? she has sung it in at least one live show?
  17. Brilliant show, one of the best live acts I've seen. Can only reiterate what Steve said, those seeing him tonight in Manchester and Glasgow on Friday are in for a treat. The warm up act, Dirty Velvet were bloody good as well and one worth looking out for. They are a Leeds band and are on the usual social networks, check them out. Photos and videos later.
  18. CD dropped throughout the letter box Monday I think. First chance to listen today and goth say it's fantastic. A great mix of funk and soul.
