  1. thought the old Detroit site was available in the archive?
  2. Sure I've got the Righteous Brothers somewhere on a live Stafford recording, though it was Guy but not so sure now? It was covered up as Jack Montgomery. My copy of the Lp is South African.
  3. The only trend I see is a lack of imagination. It takes a record to sell for silly money just the once and all of a sudden everyone has to have a copy. One sells for daft money and off they all go to the likes of Craig Moerer and get one for $35. Why didn't they buy records like these when you had trouble giving them away?

  6. Might be gaining in interest but wouldn't say difficult to source if you wanted one. You still see it boxes when I can be bothered to look, not everything is on the internet you know

if you do have a radio show, make sure it is added to the radio guide, it will appear on the front page every time it is on, bottom left of the front page.
  9. Pretty certain mine is styrene, think the label has peeled a little?
  10. Great show as usual Bob. Did you ever look into the itunes subscription? I'd get it automatically ever week that way Any interviews lined up?
  11. I have the Chico Holliday, but it's in a sales box and that is at Andy's at the moment. Memory tells me it is styrene but can't really say for sure.

The nighters no where near as good as the soul nights run by Chris, probably why I didn't go all that often to the nighters, music was a big step backwards IMO.
  13. I was speaking to Hadley for a while some years ago, in fact I posted details of what he knew about the Servicemen on here, back then he said to watch out for this cd and the unissued cuts. Been awhile but worth the wait, will be on to Amazon later to grab a copy of each.
  14. You made a remark about cut price dvd in fobbs and posted a reply to someone else's comments, why not answer the writer directly? Like I said this topic is about peoples reviews of the movie.
  15. Haven't a clue when it was first played but have known it for some years now, as Paul said did fetch a bit of money at one time but no real demand and copies to be had lot cheaper than they were.
  16. This is a topic for people to give their opinion of the film when they have seen it. You have told us what you think time and time again (even before you saw it) what you think about the film, do you really need to keep telling us, it's getting boring. I don't think anyone cares anymore that you've read the script in 2002, don't think anyone did in the first place. So what if it came out on DVD with in months, most blockbusters are on DVD within 6 months. Who cares if it cost £3.99, great if you ask me. I bought the Temptations movie for 97 pence, does that devalue it just because it was cheap. I don't think anyone expected a masterpiece, far from it and I don't think anyone expected it to be 100% factually correct. It's a film, plain and simple and most films I've seen use artistic license and stray from the truth. It isn't a documentary about Northern Soul and it doesn't claim to be either. Judging by the reviews and marks out of ten most found it an ok way to spend an hour and twenty minutes. I know Kerry and myself did. Anyone would think it is the end of Northern Soul as we know it. The scene has been exploited far worse than this in the past and no doubt it will happen again in the future, who cares. As Dave Moore said it won't change a thing for most of us on the scene and how we spend our time on the scene. It might just though bring a few new young faces on to the scene, people it badly needs.
  17. Oh and it's a tuff one, dunno how tough but it went for $3000+ last year

Depending on who is selling I've seen the George freeman for anything between £150 and £250. Maybe somewhere in between more realistic. One of if not the best beat ballad of all time
