  2. Bernard Williams seen at around £400/450 give or take in recent times
  3. showtime 9th March
  4. Preorder at https://cannonballsoul.com/cannonballrecords/
  5. Arrives from the plant this weekend I believe? Great release to celebrate 8 years.
  6. Saw one recently 50 or 60 quid on rujac
  7. 800 two or three years ago, think it took awhile to sell unless he had two copies
  8. Hope they didn't all play it
  9. Last two shows beginning with Gilly & Nicola in the studio.
  10. That's when the bulk of them turned up wasn't it, very late 80s early 90s?
  11. Too many divs and undesirables, the kinda we went to nighters to get away from. Too many events, more Djs and promoters than punters. No imagination, no idea most them. Still some good events out there, usually the smaller ones.
  12. £1200 last one a couple of years or so ago, Darren Brown, vg- 2/2.5k for a minter? If I never heard again it wouldn’t bother me, has to be one of the most over played records on the so called “upfront” scene
  13. Yep mainly folk just wobbling about, little footwork and they just look like they are going through the motions. I know many are getting on a bit but still…… Those that can still do it seem to be dancing to a different record to what is playing, as Paul says just performing for the camera.
  14. It is every collectors worst nightmare. The years of toil to buy records that rarely or indeed if ever come to market and to have this happen is sickening. I really makes you wonder if Djing and putting yourself out there is really worth it. With more and more coming to the scene and very few with the mentality we have this could become more commonplace. Really feel for Ted and I hope his records are returned. I also hope one of ours gets the scum first before the police. One thing is certain, records like this cannot be brought to market publicly, not without raising suspicion.
  15. The delta number of 100133 puts the press at mid 1976. X denotes the flip.
  16. Done by Soussan before the boot/reissue. The reissue isn’t a monarch press is it? There was a previous topic on here were it was said the monarch one was shelved when the red ones appeared?
  17. East coast and west coast
  18. I went them all despite their being not that many at say Coventry I was limited to what could include with the word count and impossible to include every venue.
  19. The Nelson was on the corner of Stephenson Place and the record shop was opposite, at one time it was called Planet X
  20. Hudson's or the one across the road from the Winding Wheel....would have been the cinema then though.
  21. Arsenal were a bit naive at times, only to be expected with young players. City showed their class and experience. Both sets of players however should be brought to task over the surrounding of the ref and the petulance shown throughout the game.
  22. Phil Beckwith returns to the studio for another dose of the Sound of Soul
  23. For many yes but there are also many who are no better than the UK sellers.
  24. Anywhere between £75 and £150. I'd say realistically somewhere in between. Vg+ is $75 on discogs up to a few hundred for a UK seller (surprise surprise). If it is original, which it looks like from the sleeve (its not the reissue from Be With) it will sell.
