Hi Ian, I was simply pointing out that the clips are available via this site and are not as clumsy as you might think, I edited the three or four posts in about two minutes. The live search really is pretty quick, quicker than you tube for me with a slow internet connection at home it is forever stalling whereas refosoul is far quicker. Plus the fact that members have taken a lot of time to build up the refosoul library. You can embed the track via the link on the refosoul player and share it with twitter, Facebook etc. Many of the clips have scans so you often have something pretty to look at too You tube is really no different content wise, simply a track with a scan or two on the vast majority. By all means use youtube clips but please try and have a go with refosoul as well.

maybe everyone should be made to use a bidding tool, enter your top bid and see what happens. Might stop the crazy bidding we see at times

nothing to serious but when replying to a post with a you tube clip if possible can you delete the media insert in the quote, the bit between shown in the red box in the screen shot It simply saves having to scroll through countless reposts of the same clips. Many of the tracks are also in refosoul so would be nice if you could use those first, they are really easy to paste into the topic A lot of effort goes into building up the refosoul database and it would be nice to see the members efforts used and maybe appreciated a bit more rather than simply plugging youtube.

If it was previously unreleased and a legitimate release then play it. I wouldn't play something that is released due to demand of the Northern scene where an original 60's US release exists. I remember someone playing the grapevine release of Bobby Rich - Theres A Girl Somewhere at a venue where the next DJ on had the original and wasn't very happy Why not get a cd player as well for some of the unreleased stuff that has made it to cd, saves the cost of a carver

That's about £860 today Ian ;-). I thought it was worth around £800 to a £1000? Ive seen it around the £800 mark couple of times, also seen it for more.

I was told there was three different takes, someone had all three at same time, same take except for intro (long and short) and other could be the slower one Tony mentions. I have I think scans of both long and slow at home, I'll see if I can find them when I get home. Don't recall seeing two different spelling of name?
