  1. try using the ebay desktop that uses the adobe air application....great for keeping track of your watches, updates itself, don't need to open your browser its there when you start the PC.... https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/showcase/inde...estudyid=383833
  2. to me that is just an oldie...70's northern if you like but wouldn't think of it as modern. Is there any out and out modern that has crossed over to the northern rooms with any great success in recent times?
  3. having problems here too with it, doesn't appear to be loading (the track).
  4. I'll be at Andys hopefully over the weekend, I'll sort some out and any others anyone wants to hear.

I heard that too and that Ray Agee wasn't aware that it had been released either. Nowt new there, many artists unaware their material had seen a release. When we first met Don Gardner and he was shown Cheating Kind for the first time he said he wasn't aware it had been released.

because there would probably be no decent return/profit!
  7. Nice one just need to hear the flip now.
  8. Andy Dyson had on, he may still have it. E-mail him @ Dysonsoul@aol.com

it would probably be computer technology that would make it stand out as a boot. you would probably have to replicate the materials and processes from the 60's to stand a chance of pulling it off. The vast majority of fakes in any collecting market get found out.

Dunno if already mentioned but te Lenny Curtis boot seems to fetch decent money when sold.

John and the Wierdest do come up for sale now and then. Saw one not too long ago. It is pretty rare though with the date stamped on it.
  13. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
I remember the Eddie Foster, mentioned it earlier, couldn't remember the others but there wasn't many done of each if I remember rightly, John will confirm one way or t'other.
  14. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
does that include the multicoloured Sam Fletcher? I thought they were pretty rare with just a few of each done?
  15. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
The multi-coloured oot of Sam Fletcher and Eddie Foster (?) must be the rarest. Bobby Bennett - Alone With My Tears boot must be pretty rare too, forget the label
  16. many thanks.
  17. Cheers for that. Anyone (Seb?) got a readable list of the end results?
  18. Hi Eddie, welcome to soul source. It's great to see the artists behind the records we love on here. Are you still in contact with the others? Do you still sing today?
  19. That'll be the Edwin Johnson who was also in the Mello Souls probably. They had a release on Candi, one side credited to Silus Phifer and the Mellow Fellows and the other side to Edwin Johnson. Both sides are in refosoul.

    Tommy Tate
  21. how different are the two releases? The one I posted initially doesn't sound too far from the sound clip of JM on John Manships site?
  22. what the going rate for John Westley and anyone got soundfile?
  23. dunno bout that pal, I posted a load of sound files on the Rare Soul Forum for Sean Doyle t'other week that Sean wanted identifying from a tape from the 80's, all covered up and this was one of them, thats what jogged the memory
