  1. I've seen a photo of Betty Lloyd, signed as well.
  2. He was superb. I had a fantastic day watching him rehearse bollocking Snake and the band. Don't recall seeing too many bad acts back then at Yarmuff. Ray Pollard, Eddie Holman, Gene Chandler and more all superb. Vocally the Precisions will take some beating. Plenty more photos on my flickr page (link below).
  3. dunno why folk want to have a pop at the seller, it's not his fault people still bid so high for the record.....the buyers are dictating the prices not the seller. Everyone knows he has quantity of the record and it's not a case of him saying last one.....ok this is definately the last one

  5. big record for Gary Spencer too towards end of 80's.
  6. Maybe Gary Rushbrook played it back end of Wigan?? Did Tim put it on a Wigan CD? I don't recall seeing it on one?
  7. Don't think John has ever said that the prices are gospel has he, simply what he has sold them for? John himself has said it is nothing more than a guide.
  8. has this list been updated?
  9. There is another topic about Eddie >>>>>HERE<<<<<
  10. John, are you gonna consider the boot info as a stand alone guide, an update to boot guide 3? Even if your opinion on prices differs its a great reference guide and worth buying for the boot info on it's own.
  11. £1000 to £1200. I know of one sold for around that in recent months. Should be more when you see many so call rare records fetch more than this.
  12. have seen this for £75+ Mak if that's any use. In Manship guide for a ton.

    last nights prices anyone?
  14. I assumed they were unconnected as they have different owners, Abe Epstein for Cobra/Jox and Huey P Meaux for Teardrop which is part of the Crazy Cajon set up???? Can someone confirm or say otherwise???
  15. I might be wrong but Cobra nothing to do with Teardrop is it? It is summat to do with Jox as they share same numbering system along the lines somewhere.
  16. Michigan Move if remember rightly taken from master tapes, loads of takes on it. Rarity wise Carl Fortnum's Bell Sound acetate (??) that he plays out as Frank Foster? sure its an instrumental
  17. One of the best Northern Soul records ever discovered, its got everything you want in a dancer. Messy...who gives a f*ck, soul as it should be, from the heart, the group giving it everything and more and not summat practiced and polished in a studio
  18. https://louisville.edu/ur/ucomm/mags/spring2004/barriers.html
  19. covered up as Lancaster Johnson.
  20. Same here pal only in my top 5!!! I badgered Guy for this on tape and he eventually did me a tape.....with just this on Still got it in the garage somewhere. Was offered this at 100 Club for summat like 4 or 500 late 80's but was skint at the time
  21. Bell Sound label, blank preferably
  22. its a waste of time reporting them, ebay seem to do little most of the time. Maybe worth asking for a listing of the 57 albums, maybe Kent etc can then do something if their material on it.
