it's covered up, it's the one you came running up and asked about Bearsy, said it was great and walked off in a huff when I wouldn't tell you who it was

I got an lp through t'other week, packed between cardboard as you would expect then an lp either side One of the lps used for packing has the likes of the Isleys on it, Delfonics, Dells, Tommy James, Curtis Mayfield...Dawn and the Partridge Family

whilst looking for the Frank Wilson version of the Vows - Tell me t'other day I found an alternate take of DILYIID As well as hedging his bets to find the best version for release, another possible reason was good way of filling albums in case not enough material.
  6. like you say Dave, not a crap record but not a great record either. The 70's version is crap though!

Late (anything but) I usually find is a 12 midnight finish with the bar closing at 11pm
  8. Dean Anderson as far as I know has the only one, a studio acetate. He has studio acetates to Upper Hand and Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah. Be interesting to find out if on tape?
  9. Dave Burton responsible for them and he was( Still is ?) living in Hong Kong at the time, done in his flat by all acounts??? You can hear the mobilke phone go off in one of the tracks.
  10. The Larry Hammond was recorded a few years ago though in Hong Kong, three or 4 tracks done at same time.
  11. good choice Baz, I've played this for a few years now when given the right opportunity.
  12. Quite agree, Andy DS was playing this out covered up couple of years ago.
  13. Mel Williams went for a few bob on ebay t'other night. Anyone got MP3?
  14. some more definitions... https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=F+A+B
  15. it actually means "full acknowledgement of broadcast"
  16. we are lightened up Liam and had a good laugh But like Col said it also a bad joke! I can just imagine some outsider wetting themselves whilst watching that clip and thinking what a bunch of La La's Dancers just aren't like they used to be and dance comps just spoil and disrupt the night for many, they have done for years I agree with t'others you should have won Who did win btw? If the judges owt like me I hardly noticed anyone else
  17. First covered up and played by Pat Brady as Nolan Chance & Constellations. I think Shifty got one years later and cover it as Pookie Hudson?
  18. More intersting for me is whats on BBC4 tomorrow night....Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlett, Stingray and Thunderbirds documentary
  19. You got a scan of the sleeve Trev?
  20. Gotta agree with you Bri, the Vows with Morris Chestnut on lead vocals far better.
  21. check your PM's
  22. I've just watched it again just to make sure I wasn't imagining what I saw and part 2 and 3 just to really make sure Tricks, acrobatics or whatever you want to call them are well and good, if done right and in step with the music but when just done willy nilly to try and make someone look good (allegedly) they look ridiculous. Some of them should be thrown off the Tower. And who picks the music for dance comps? they always choose the worst records possible! Ban 'em!!!
  23. I've the full track somewhere if you want it.
  24. It's Frank Wilson with Branda and Patrice Holloway on backing vocals.
