  1. "Walter" is Walter Smith. He was in the original Admirations but left the group after bust up. He then formed Walter & Admerations and these later went on to become the Green Berets (without Walter I think).
  2. The matrix in the run out groove on the original should be 4-bros-10467-11. It also has AT scratched in where the boots don't. The "lined" ones are West Coast with delta number 62652 on Styrene. Booted on yellow, white, whiote promo, yellow and lined none have correct matrix and all are on vinyl. Thanks to JM boot guide for guidance ;-)
  3. There's thousands from that place across the pond, the USofA ;-) I'll get me coat......

You can only assume she is telling the truth but you would have thought all the family had been asked for their copies. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole personally now.
  5. £40/£50 tops. Old Guy Hennigan spin from Stafford.

It's not unknown just not widely known if you no what I mean. Has been klnown about by some collectors and DJ's for years. Just very rare and obscure.

Not in his guide though so presume he didn't know it at time of publishing, or did he just forget. Andy Dyson had one about 10 years ago. Was watching the bidding for the last couple of hours. The other Two Plus Two on Ditto is an old Butch spin covered as the Servicemen.

  19. Got Jazzy jas's cd through today. Took me half an hour to get in to it but was well worth it. FIRST class sleeve notes and booklet. Sure the cd will be just as good when I listen to it.
  20. Cheers Kolla I will have a gander a bit later and try and help Mark out, if not he can send me a tape and I'll transfer tape to cd for him and send back ;-) Personally I use Soundforge and NormaliseGUI to normalise the tracks once on the PC.

Another couple I've pushed whenever had the chance is Syng McGowan - Just In The Nick Of Time - Hope and Benny Latimore - Girl I've Got News For You -Dade. Know one or two others who've picked BL up after hearing it and it's always got a few to the decks to see what it is.

Do you have a sound file Brett. The title seems familiar but not sure so wouldn't mind a listen.

Syl is well worth picking up. I've p[layed it out a few times the last 18 months. "Same Kind Of Thing" on Twinight ain't too bad either.
