Just Listening Too
My tune at the moment is Ambassadors - Ain't Got The Love of One Girl (On My Mind) And to think I originally bought it for the other side. Obviously I'm not too bright sometimes.....

Back Of The Box Treasures
On my blog this week I re-visted a bunch of soul tunes I hadn't thrown on in a while (preferring the funkier side of things these days). One exception: the Margie Joseph is a recent purchase..... https://three-sixty-five45s.blogspot.com/

Car Boot Purchases
I love flea markets and thrift shops....usually the price is right for a few risks and if you find something you're actually after, it's even better. I stopped at a thrift shop last night & found an LP for 50 cents: The Soultown Symphony plays the best of the Detroit Sound (anvil 1001) Orchestra covers of Motown tracks......actually not terrible.

Soul Patrol-saigon Strut
I've seen it several times at various record shows over here in the mid-Atlantic region of the States. Anyone know if this is the same Soul Patrol who put out the great funk 45s on Discovery & Zuma?

Bit Adventurous This
Come on, now. $600,000 is nothing for a 'legendary collection'.......

Underplayed & Underappreciated
That Ideals track is very nice.

The Latest "big Thing"
And actually quite a good record, although it has nothing to do with northern soul. I'd like a copy myself.....

Is Ebay Taking The Fun Out Of It
Ebay will never take the place of going to a record shop or show, etc..., and having the immediate pleasure of finding a record you've been after (or something new & exciting) and walking out the door. I tend to use e-bay more as a resource for my record shopping that's done off-line. I try to note interesting 45s and then look for them in the field. Generally, with a bit of patience, I can find them for less than the e-bay price. Being on a budget, this is a good thing. Then again, spending the $$ to get a record you've been after the 'bay...feels real nice to mark it off the wants list......

Dee Edwards - I Can Deal With That - De-to
Thanks for the information everyone. I knew there was a later pressing on Morning Glory - but now two distinct versions on De-To?? Wasn't expecting that.
