was just in tescos dundee. sure i was hearing soul music from somewhere. there was a small stereo on a shelf belting out falcons/im a fool i must love you,wade flemons/that other place & then accents/better think again. the 1st 2 tunes are on common-ish cd compelations,but un'usual to hear accents in the mainstream shopping centre,lol. cheered my day,up after arguing with the plumber to fix water pouring out of overflow after he put in new bathroom & nae fixing it. steve.

maybe the guy just came out from a 25year stint @ h,m,p & missed a few things from the scene.

its kinda ironic. if he just kept hold of those records for a few more years.it would of been a good investment & could of doubled his,sorry investers money.

remember my mate telling me that he picked up 5 copies in the states,from one of his record hunting trips.late 80's early 90's. kept one & sold the rest @ £75 a pop.not sure if he still has it tho. he was on the modern scene @ the time. said £75 was alot then to pay for a modern tune,as most the tunes were £10/15. big devide then between modern/northern.northern scene didnt want the modern tunes. they do now

well thats me had 4 records in jiffy bags this week. all with 2 thin weak bits of cardboard. from states & uk. all from people who buy & sell records.wonder if they would be happy if i sent them records like that. just glad i dont send them like that. steve.

i got 45 from states last week. 2 pieces of thin cardboard.roughly cut out of a cardboard box,as weak as you could get.was inside jiffy bag(not even a bubble wrap one).inside a express mail envelope. i could bend the whole lot easy when got it.then opened envelope & record was hanging out of jiffy bag with the crap cardboard neither side of the record. how it wasnt broken i dont know. thank god as postage was $29 & customs got hold of it & charged me £41. had a few like that & an lp from states,just in a thin lp mailer,no cardboard,just an old bit of newspaper wrapped round it. steve.
