  3. Played a requested Paul Newman .Ain't you got a heart at Sheridan,s once and completely emptied a full dance floor apart from the lad that requested it. Then the follow-up record refilled the floor. God the drugs where good in those days. Steve

  6. Well it's October 8th. And I have just seen a juvenile swallow fly over. Probably no more than sixty feet above my head heading southward at a rate of knots. Obviously separated from its family group and also the latest by a long way that I have seen any in the UK. Good luck on your perilous journey It amazes me how they can find there way even though this bird will have never made the migration before and like I said it's on its own it was still heading southward. Steve

  12. Seen six house Martin's flying high and south over delemere forest today whilst I was fishing, probably a family group.Keep saying how much longer will there be sightings. Steve
  13. Russell. Lovely pic. In relation to your question. I think the sunsets this time of year and the corresponding time in spring are due to the Sun going into or out of the Spring and autumn equinoxes.that's my theory. Steve
  14. Russell that a tree-mendous tune I had forgotten how good it sounds Steve
